  Descrição

  We are a non-profit organization full of enthusiasts for permaculture and community activities. Our base is in a remote part of an village, rural settlement (lazy - in Slovak language) near Hrušov.
  
  Art and co-creation are close to our hearts. We actively support and organise community activities, exchange of experiences and meetings with friends around fire and meal. In summer we organise a community festival. Its entirely non-profit and non-commercial, run by a dedicated team of volunteers.
  
  Together, we tend to a piece of land, creating a space for togetherness, creativity, and abundance.
  
  We are 4 - 5 people living here with friends and volunteers coming for weekend activities. The project is attracting people from different corners who care about meaningful relationships and environment around us.

  O que é isso?

  Oportunidades de intercâmbio cultural e aprendizado

  Volunteers will experience life in a unique Slovak setting called "lazy"- scattered hill settlements that have a distinct magic and slower pace. Its 4 km away from a small village, totally in the middle of nature.
  
  We love sharing communal meals around big table under a nut tree and winding down in the evenings around a campfire, talking or playing music. We are social group interested in making connection. One of our member is interested in facilitating authentic relating games. All of the members travelled a lot, lived in different places and few years ago decided to create together a place where relationships are in the centre.
  
  Through our current projects volunteers can learn new skills and gain hands-on experience and learn Slovak language if they are interested. We are eager to learn about how community life, sustainability, art, are approached in other parts of the world and personal experiences and stories of people who will visit us.

  Ajuda

  We're setting up an eco-project in a beautiful nature. The project is in an early stage and the living standard is basic, natural and soothing to the soul. There are bunch of projects and ideas for this year we are developing. There are always ideas around vegetable garden and fruit trees, we love to take care of.
  
  The main focus is on relationships among us and sharing time together in help tasks, music and social activities. The social aspect and connection are important. We welcome volunteers, who are eager to get involved, learn new things and share a common space and time.

  Acomodação

  There are two small tiny houses available for a single person or a couple.
  
  We have an attic in an old house, with beds, where people can sleep. It hasn't been renovated, there is no heating, which is totally fine in summer. You can also use your tent :) In all cases it is good to bring your own sleepingbag, however we can provide bedding.
  
  There is an outdoor shower (with heated warm water) and dry toilets.
  
  We are not eating meat, neither consuming alcohol.

  Our project is located in a beautiful, remote area about 4 km from the nearest village. There is just one small grocery shop for basic stuff.
  
  Please note that the village Hrušov has limited public transport connections. There is another village called Vinica, which is easier to reach from the capital city Bratislava, where we can pick you up.
  
  This place is perfect for volunteers who prefer the peace of nature over city life. There are plenty of opportunities for walking, contemplating, listening to birds singing, reading, and embracing a slow-paced lifestyle.
