  We are a family of four who live in a typical French maison de maitre in the middle of rolling vineyards.
  For the last far too many years (!) we’ve been renovating and are now really keen for some help for a final push to finish the house and gardens so we can relax a little more and not spend all our spare time working on the house!
  We would so appreciate a helping hand whether it be gardening, organising, painting or cooking whilst we concentrate on other work. Most of the time we will be doing projects together, we’re not expecting anyone to take all the work on themselves. You will be part of the family, share mealtimes etc. Everyone here is relaxed and we want you to be able to enjoy yourselves as well.
  
  In exchange we can offer a very comfortable large bedroom and plenty of space and opportunities to have some time to yourself or you can accompany me on trips to the local town or cycle and visit local villages.
  
  We are surrounded by gorgeous vineyards, fields and woods with deer, wild boar and an abundant amount of birds so if you’re looking for peace and countryside then this is a perfect place for you.
  
  Our home is easy, there’s often music playing, a dog that loves walks, cats, a gym if you want to workout and a pool if you fancy a swim (unheated though!)
  
  My husband is an ironworker and has a workshop at home, I also work alongside him and look after a house rental. Our boys, who are 15 and 17 will be about although pretty self sufficient.
  
  There's local restaurants, swimming lakes, fishing, golf, the beach is two hours away and the Pyrenees 2 hours as well. Public transport isn’t amazing but it does exist, don’t expect regular buses and trains! We have bikes that can be used and Starlink internet access. I can pick you up from any local village or if you can get to Agen or Auch train station that’s fine as well.
  
  Many things to see and do so come and enjoy our little corner of France (and help us out at the same time!)

  We are immersed in French local life so there is often the occasion to practice your French and see what life in rural France is like. We are surrounded by vineyards and wineries so you are welcome to walk where you want and talk to the local Chateau about their wine.

  Cooking, teaching (brevet exams this year!) hedge cutting, log cutting, plumbing, carpentry, gardening,, general household help anything you can set your hand to really as there is plenty to be done.

  I can pick you up from the local bus station and depending on arrival times etc if it coincides with a trip further afield we can arrange train and sometimes airport pick ups. Walking, bike riding and experiencing the local food markets are all possible. We enjoy playing tennis, board games, table tennis, walking, the boys ski and the oldest races his cars occasionally at the local circuit.

  There's plenty of spaces you will be able to get some peace and quiet and the internet speed is good.
