  Hello, welcome to our homestead in Tennessee! Here there are 4 cats, 15 chickens, bamboo, an organic garden, lots of trees and one human on 5 acres in a suburban setting.

  You will learn about chickens, bamboo, gardening, and the specifics of Tennessee clay and culture.

  Year-round, the primary activity is chicken care. They're pretty easy now that they're grown up and they're fun pets to hang out with.
  
  From January-March, the primary project is to redesign the garden and remove weeds and other invasive grasses and plants.
  
  From May-October the primary goal is planting vegetables, watering the garden and other trees, and cutting grass.

  You can participate in shared meals, or make your own food if preferred.

  The house is vegetarian except for cat food. Fast WiFi, home gym, TV, bicycles, and books. There is no public transportation. I can drive you, or you can use my car if you promise not to crash. There are good hiking trails nearby.
