  I am a single woman (no kids) living on 10 acres of very beautiful garden and Australian bushland. My house and land is located 14 kilometers from the Brisbane CBD in a suburb called Pullenvale. My land is immediately surrounded by the Moggill Conservation Park which is a wonderful place for birdwatching, hiking, mountain bike riding. I have fairly recently purchased the property.
  
  I am a very quiet, solitary person and I work from home. I very rarely have visitors and enjoy reading, hiking and gardening in my spare time. I share my life with a tiny toy poodle - she is immaculately clean and non-shedding and loves to play with her toys and playing 'fetch' in the garden. I am artistic and creative and I work as a construction law consultant. I bought this house and land with the intention of buying a pony/horse so I'm slowly preparing my land for a horse. I am also a car enthusiast, specifically classic Porsches.
  
  Although I am very helpful and friendly, and I prioritize your comfort and the quality of your experience, when I share a house with someone I tend to seek out privacy and stay in my own areas/rooms. I am not a super-sociable person and therefore I like my guests to respect my privacy/quiet time. When I'm not on my computer working, I am generally outside working in my garden.

  Myself and my neighbors are very interested in bushcare and land regeneration. We all volunteer in the conservation park next door by doing plant, wildlife and bird 'surveys' and also by doing volunteering weeding days. There is an abundance of native wildlife all around the house and land - I have kangaroos, bandicoots, goannas, wedge-tailed eagles, many kinds of native birds including tame kookaburras and parrots in my garden and on my verandah on a regular basis. This place is perfect for a naturist/outdoorsman. The conservation park next door is excellent for mountain biking, birdwatching, horse-riding, hiking.

  I am offering accommodation (fully furnished private bedroom and private bathroom including electricity/water/internet) in exchange for gardening and general laboring tasks.
  
  Besides myself, you will always be the only other person on the property. I do not have other work-away workers or house-guests.
  
  I am looking for a strong, hardworking person, preferably with some laboring/gardening experience to help me to care for my beautiful forest/mountain home. You do not need any specific gardening or landscaping skills however you need to enjoy a bit of hard work and have some outdoors/gardening experience. You are only required to do 2 hours work per day, and I am fairly flexible - you can work 4 hours on one day and then none the following day if you wish. However, I usually work with you and I prefer early morning starts, so my preference is that you get your work done early in the morning while it's still cool outside. Then you have the rest of the day off. The kinds of work you/I do includes:
  
  - collecting rocks and logs from the forest to make rock garden beds and pathways;
  - lawn mowing, hedge clipping, brush-cutting;
  - exterior house painting;
  - weeding;
  - hole digging and tree planting;
  - water the garden and newly planted trees;
  - making wire tree protectors (protection from wallabies and deer);
  
  The working and living conditions are excellent - I take excellent care of my workers and treat them like a member of my own household. I never ask my workers to do work that I wouldn't/don't do myself! I also provide verbal or written references from previous work-away guests on request.
  
  For the right person, this position can expand to be long term and evolve into a house-sitting/property care-taker role. I travel a lot for work and if I find someone who is very reliable and trustworthy, the role could be permanent.
  
  The accommodation is very high quality, clean, modern and comfortable with private bedroom and bathroom and only sharing kitchen and other shared facilities with me (no one else). The photos of the bedroom and bathroom are YOUR private bedroom and bathroom.

  Private bedroom fully furnished with private bathroom and private (small) lounge/sitting/TV room. Guest can also use my home cinema which is great fun to watch movies/listen to music/chill. Shared kitchen. Guest must be very clean and tidy especially in the kitchen. My kitchen and communal areas are always very clean and tidy.
  
  The suitable person would respect my living habits - which is to conserve water and electricity as much as possible. Buying and maintaining a property of this value and size is extremely expensive and therefore my house guests must assist me to minimize my bills by not taking long showers or being wasteful. I'm not obsessive about these things but I do require the person to show respect to this issue.
  
  Unfortunately the swimming pool in the photographs is not available for use (I have converted it into a pond/wetland for wildlife, birds/frogs/fish).

  Depending on the planned lifestyle/activities of the guest, it may be necessary for the guest to have their own car or motorcycle or bicycle if the guest plans to do a lot of activities like going into the Brisbane CBD. There is a very good, regular bus that goes from Pullenvale to Brisbane CBD (and back) however, the distance between my home and the bus stop is approximately 4km and takes about 50 minutes to walk (it is a beautiful walk but there are steep hills).
  
  The guest can do anything in their spare time that they wish to do, but without a car/motorcycle/bicycle to travel between my house and the bus stop, it would be difficult to do activities away from my home. If you want to get a better idea of what the environment around my home is like, please go on google maps 'satellite' view and look at 'Pullenvale'. Find the location where the suburb of Pullenvale meets with the 'Moggill Conservation Park' and you will see what the area/environment is like. No footpaths, no street lights, no neighbors close by.

  2.7 kg tiny toy poodle. Very playful but also loves to sit on your lap and sleep all day. She is very well trained and obedient. She is loved like an infant child and perfectly groomed. She is non shedding and odor free. She almost never barks, is fully house trained.
