  Hi! My name is Kelsang (34, he/his). After many years nomading around the world (and being a workawayer myself many times), I decided to come back to my beautiful hometown to bring back all the lessons learned. Here I involved myself with a few associative initiatives:
  - an artist/activist house project, where cultural events are hosted.
  - a small association to promote TTRPGs as a way to bring social benefit to young people.
  - a local group promoting animal welfare and vegan/vegetarian consumption habits.
  - an informal group promoting spirituality, connection to nature and conscious leisure activities such as ecstatic dance.
  
  My goal is to create a tribe-like network of like-minded, mindful people who can organically operate as a community despite distance, diversity of ideas, and the challenges of capitalist life, and for this "tribe" to be as beneficial as possible for the town of Ontinyent and the world at large.
  
  About me, I can say the following: I'm a writer, therapist (life coach), shamanic practitioner, Buddhist practitioner, and professional TTRPG narrator. In the projects I participate, I like to take care of numbers, calendars, and planning, while also taking care of the team. I enjoy being at the forefront of the conversation, advancing inspiring and revolutionary ideas.

  I always try to invite 2-4 volunteers at the same time, so a sense of community can be felt during the volunteering.
  
  Ontinyent is a very active town with bars, restaurants, tons of young people, and surrounded by amazing nature (Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit, but only a bit). You'll have plenty of time to explore on your own and to partake in the activities that I do with my friends around town. If you are into rock-climbing, Ontinyent is a paradise, and we could go once or twice a week. If you have never done it but want to learn, we'll teach you happily.
  
  There is also a local Buddhist Center in town, which I attend regularly. It offers meditation and yoga sessions that might result interesting to you, plus sporadic workshops on other interesting topics.
  
  Finally, my friends keep on saying that I am very wise and goodhearted, so you might also make an enriching connection for your trip if we happen to be a spiritual match.

  Ajuda

  For our next volunteering session, starting in mid August 2025, we are looking for the following skills:
  
  - Social Media management
  - Web design, graphic design
  - Crowdfunding campaign
  - Video shooting and editing
  - Event managing
  - Charity work
  
  Also, if you have experience as a veterinarian, you are very much welcome!
  
  For all communication-related tasks, Spanish is key.
  
  We work 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, usually during the morning. Ideally, you are able to take on a specific project and advance on it semi-autonomously. It's good if you bring your own creativity and ideas into the team, or if you lead a personal project, such as an event or activity.

  Acomodação

  You will be staying at my apartment with me. This is a 4 room, 110 square meters old apartment in the center of Ontinyent. It is not luxurius, but it's inhabitable. You'll have a private room. The bathroom is shared. It is a fourth floor with no elevator (free cardio session every time you climb up haha)
  
  Also, very important, we eat only vegan food at home. We always cook vegan, local, delicious meals (we rarely order food or eat out) as a way to both promote a more collective way of living and a more respectful, less consumerist way of feeding ourselves. I am a strong advocate of communal eating. In these times of individualization, something as simple as eating together becomes an act of soft activism. This means that it wouldn't work for me if you want to cook your own meals for yourself only. Cooking must be collective and it will be vegan. Ideally, you are vegetarian or vegan yourself, or you find it easy to adapt.
  
  A few disclaimers:
  - The house is old and not fancy at all. Beware. But it is cozy and enjoyable.
  - The house has no Wi-Fi connection.
  - We eat vegan.
  - Smoking tobacco is not welcome in the house.
  - 4th floor with no elevator.
  
  About the Wi-Fi absence: There is a public library next 3-minute walk from the house. I can hotspot with my phone during the working hours.
