  I'm located at Taveuni the famous Garden Island of Fiji. Please keep in mind: Taveuni is a remote Island without much entertainment from outside and no night life at all (Taveuni midnight is at 9pm ;-) ). However with the most friendly local people you can imagine and stunning nature.
  
  Since leaving the hussle and bussle everyday life in Germany, about ten years ago, I have set up and realized a dream; a life close to the ocean, all year round pleasant temperatures, with off grid PV electricity and rain water supply. For workawayers I have a guestroom with a private bathroom.
  
  The one acre land is sensitively used to produce organic food, medicine and other useful crops. I love to eat wholsome healthy, mostly vegetarian food from the own garden in which I grow meanwhile more than 100 (mostly tropical) plants.
  
  My interests are art, spiritual growth, alternative medicine, Qigong, of course gardening and creating an environmental friendly place for a harmonic existence with mother earth.
  Enjoying this little paradise means to me working in the garden and watching the miracle of nature, snorkling in front of the volcanic black sand/gravel beach (1 min walking distance), talks to share, exchange of ideas and knowhow, having a bonfire and marvel at the breathtaking sunsets which Taveuni is famous for.

  You will experience what it means to live off grid, mainly self-sufficient on a remote Island in the tropics.
  I'm ready to share my experience in respect of organic gardening, herbal medicine and life sustaining healthy cooking, mostly vegetarian with crops from the garden.
  Enjoy snorkeling and discovering hidden trails on the Island.
  Get in touch with the interesting Fijian culture.
  Join in exercising Qigong....

  I'm greateful about:
  
  - someone who is familiar with Starlink set up and new technologies.
  - craftsmans/handyman, helping to maintain the buildings and for all types of repair tasks.
  - help in the garden - weeding, trimming trees, harvesting, brush cutting.
  - cleaning in, around and on the house.
  - caring about a cat and a dog.
  
  Please only make a request if you are a person with a high sense of responsibility. If you can't clean your toilet yourself and it's messy around you, it won't work. No drugs on the premises!

  Right now there is a private room available in the residence with an attached bathroom.
  
  Guests are welcome to join in the cooking in the main residence and sharing meals. In general I have a decent breakfast, during the day snacks or fruits from the garden and a cooked dinner around sunset.
  
  Occasionally there might be available a fully self-contained guesthouse, simple furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed, basic cooking facilities, own bathroom and a large sea view veranda, one minute walk away from the beach.

  Scuba diving with dive operators (very costly on Taveuni) on the famous Rainbow reef, snorkeling from the beach, hiking on local trails, tours like Lavena beach walk, exploring Bouma national park water falls, natural water slide ....
  There is plenty of online information about Taveuni Island on youtube.
  
  Public bus transport is available however only once or twice a day. Taxi fares are reasonable priced.
  
  If guests are interested I can organize excursions or we might have a hike together.
  
  Having a bonfire and watching the starry sky...
