  I am looking for helping hands to take care of a charming finca and a small land of olive and carob trees between the Mediterranean sea and the beautiful mountains
  
  It’s better if you have your own transport to stay here .
  
  There is different work to do, from clearing and taking care of the land, to renovation, maintenance or general cleaning of the house.
  
  I have few projects in mind and I am also open to hearing your ideas!
  
  About me
  I am Gypsea, mature, independent, calm, and free-spirited woman, who has experienced a life rich in travels and cultures. I love being in nature, taking care of plants, connect with the land. I enjoy photography, creating, making natural remedies, and I am inspired by authentic connection with people. I also appreciate and need quality time by myself, soul-itude, and silence.
  
  Conscious about minimising my footprint on the planet, I am now looking to create a beautiful and sustainable sanctuary to call home, possibly an artists retreat.
  
  I do not smoke, drink or take drugs, therefore I am looking for people who also share a passion for healthy, wholesome living.
  
  About you
  I am looking for honest, mature, proactive and motivated volunteers, willing to get their hands dirty if necessary.
  
  It is important to me that you are a calm and mindful person, able to both contribute to the space in which you live and respect other people’s tranquility and privacy.
  
  You will need to be aware that the house is off-grid, so electricity & water are precious resources. Water especially needs to be used very sparingly, and recycled whenever possible.
  
  About the place
  This is a non-smoking and vegetarian home in the middle of nature, appx 3-4 km to the nearest village.
  
  Topaz, a sweet young male rescued cat, and Naya, energetic cute female kitten live with me.
  
  My two young adult daughters (who both workawayed for several years) visit regularly.
  
  As written at the beginning, you will need to come with your own transport for freedom of movement and independence.
  
  There is a good internet reception if you have your own European sim card - there is no WiFi setup available here.

  Acomodação

  You will have your own room if you are not sleeping in a van / camping car
  
  The house is divided in two parts and has two bathrooms, one for me and one shared by the workawayers.
  
  Additionally, there is plenty of space to park your van / caravan if that is your mode of travelling and you wish to sleep in it.
  
  I offer accommodation, breakfast & one main meal per day (generally lunch) in exchange for 4-5 hours of work per day, 5 days / week. Basic food will be provided but not necessarily cooked for you. Please note that this is a vegetarian household.

  There is plenty to do in the area in your free time, especially if you love nature - many hikes, mountains, beaches, the Ebro river and the beautiful delta with its rice paddies, flamingos and birds reserve.
  
  There are also lots of historical and cultural treasures, great little villages or bigger towns (Tortosa, Cambrils, Tarragona) to explore, less than an hour’s drive away. You can drive to Barcelona in 1h30.
  
  Photography heaven.
  
  The house is situated approximately :
  
  5 min. drive to the nearest village El Perelló
  
  10-15 min. drive to the seaside (and the nearest beaches of Ampolla or Amettla del Mar)
  
  30-90 min. drive to several mountain villages (some of them existing since the middle ages)... or buzzy towns if you need a nature break (Tarragona, Reus, Barcelona..)
