I stayed with Inga, Angelo, Paulo and Julius for a month and had the best experience! I was welcomed with open arms and I felt very safe and at home right away. Inga is so sweet and caring - always making sure you are feeling good and have everything you need. Angelo is fun to be around and easy to talk to. They both taught me a lot about the
… read more culture, life in Puglia and cooked amazing Italian food. They told me what places I needed to visit and what traditional foods to try. Paulo and Julius are such cute, funny boys and even though I don’t understand Italian, did we manage to find a way to communicate through body language and facial expressions.
Most “work” was in the morning were I help out with a few household chores, so that gave me a lot of free time I loved spending at the beach, in the park or just staying home relaxing and playing with the kids.

My experience by Inga and her two lovely children was really really nice ! I really enjoyed and could learn and share so much in so few time ! Speaking and teaching a little English to the bigger child, Paolo and playing, reading, drawing with both of them, this is how I enjoyed the nice time with the children. I also shared a lot with Inga, the
… read more mother. She is so friendly and very lovely. She also taught me a lot about the Italian culture and about Barletta, showing me the typical places like the market, taking me to the sea with the children, explaining me how the life of people there was,... She taught me as well a lot about the food and cooked a lot of different typical Italian plates for me (and even some of her slovenian recipes, like her homemade delicious jam or her so tasty crunchy bread), I could discover so much and she cooked so well ! I'm so lucky to have been able to make this experience by her family, I'm really thankful to her for that ! :)
Unfortunately I could not meet Angelo since he was away for work when I was there but it would be with pleasure next time ! :D

It was a pleasure to have Eloïse helping in our family. She learned our home rules at a glance and was really helpful with all daily activities. She was friendly with the kids, very polite and perfectly managed to help with daily household chores. It's only a pity that we had not so much time to host her. Maybe next summer! Thank you!

I received a very warm welcome from the very start and with every day I got more and more integrated into their family. … read more very caring, sympathetic and curious about your culture. I couldn't imagine better host mother-sister. Angelo is a born cook, easygoing and funny. They were also very generous and providede with everything I needed and even more. I had enough free time to relax on the beach or do some sightseeing. Moreover, they've been very helpful with Italian and during my stay I considerably improved my language. I was indeed very lucky to be hosted by them because they treated me like a member of their family.

The best family you can stay with. Super nice people, best baby ever; I felt really comfortable around them and included all the time. Great cooks. A family I hope I can stay in contact forever, and hope to visit them again in a not so far future.
