Emily is a very nice young woman, easy to get along with, we had many nice conversations during and after the work (that was not difficult and always dealing with animals). When I was there I had the incredible opportunity to see baby dogs being born, and on weekends it's possible to have small horse-back riding classes with her sister. Everyone

I had a wonderfull time with Emilie and her family. The horses are beautiful, such as the dogs. The work is really fun to do and you immediatly feel as a member of the family.
I really enjoyed my stay :)

I spend a very good time at Emilie's breeding. During my 3 weeks in september 2013 I learned many new things about horses thanks to Emilie and her sister Anaïs. I really enjoyed the daily work with the horses and Emilie and I formed an efficient team. Her family integrated me well. They were very nice with me. Thanks again!

… read more the prensence of all the dogs because before my coming I don't really appreciated dogs but my opinion changed thanks to my stay there. The place is very calm and nice and I had great walks in the forests around. Sometimes alone and on my own feets, sometimes with Anaïs and on the backs of their beautiful horses. Thanks to her I also realized one of my dream which was to ride bareback. It was wonderfull !! I will keep a great memory of all the things we've done together: The evening in the Italien retaurant, the go outs with the quad and the can-am, the beauty contest with all the preparations it needed, the afternoon in Limoges, the zoo etc...

i stayed 2 weeks at Emilies house on july 2012( sorry for leaving the feedback delay)
i can say that this place will be your paradise if you love nature, horses and dogs!
Emilie has her farm in a isolated area, where there isnt any noise or polution. you can only listen the animals, wind...

Dogs were my friends, and they came with me while i was working, so i didnt feel alone.
she has vey incredible horses, and foals, and you can learn a lot about manteining them, and also about puppies.
i recomend taking your own car, because emilie has to work, and is not possible to go walking to the village, and if you want to do tourism you depend on her and if she has free time ( and she works a lot!!)
she has a small swiming pool too, where you can refesh after work.

I stayed over 6 months with Emilie and her family and I loved it! I had a fantastic time with all the dogs, I think there are like sixteen dogs and of course horses - Welsh Cob Section D. So if you like animals and the nature you will be right there. It was a excellent experience for me, taking care of the horses because you actually live with
… read more them and doing the general stuff like feeding, cleaning the stables....
I learned lot of new things for example about the births, to manipulate young horses and so on... I had also the chance to visited many places and when you are interessed in animals, you will maybe watching or practising some shows with the ponys AND the dogs.
Of course my french is much better right know, everybody was helping me and I had always so much fun !
It was very hard to leave this place for me, I got to know great people and the lovely french culture, the wonderful family and Emilie, who is becoming a very good friend.
