Hello,
We are Jaïs & Lydie along with our two sons of 8 and 5, our daughter of 2, plus a massive cat, 6 chikens, 2 sheeps and a goat.
Lydie is a devoted schoolmaster in elementary school. She also practise Yoga and used to teach classes. Jaïs works two jobs: he manages a help desk department for a cybersecurity company (main occupation), and he is a trained hypnotist who strives to develop his activity. He also practises archery and used to teach martial arts.
We live in a large house surrounded by woods, fields and a river in Châteauponsac, a small town in Haute-Vienne located half an hour away from Limoges. The house is set in the middle of a big garden on top of a hill with a view on the town.
We'd like to see this big house more lively, and maybe one day turn it into a yoga retreat center, which is the reason why we'd love to welcome friendly people!
You can walk downtown from the house but will need to drive or take the bus to go to Limoges (cinemas, shopping centers, activities, train station, airport with direct flights to UK) or la Souterraine (train station to Paris).

Although Haute-Vienne is a rural area, it is very lively and active with a lot of eco- or citizen's actions.
You will be welcome to take part in any family activities!
We are open-minded, and very interested in spirituality and ecology. We'll be happy to share what we know and are with you.

We're mainly looking for someone who can watch after the kids when necessary (after school, activities...), and general help around the garden and the house (some cooking, refurbishing, sandblasting, painting, etc.). A real plus if you like music or play any instrument, and you feel like sharing it with us, as we are all fond of music and play some.

Lydie is interested in learning Spanish.
The house is L-shaped, and you will have your own bedroom in the guest wing of the house. This wing includes a nice bathroom and toilets. The wing itself is quiet and separated from the main house by a nice veranda. The inside of the house is non-smoking.
You will eat with the family. You're welcome to cook if you want to share your recipes!
However, although flexible we are mostly vegetarian and very rarely eat meat.
You are free to do whatever you like during your spare time, or participate in our various activities and meet our friends. There is a lot of sightseeing to be done, especially strolls in the countryside.
