Hi guys! My name is Kristijan. After six years away, I am returning to this property together with my partner Višnja.
After leaving the site in 2018. we are coming back with a new energy to put in a service for the vision of this place.
I'm a visionare, a permaculture designer and an entrepreneur. In love with the life, people and music!
Višnja is also an entrepeneur, nature and a healthy life style lover.
The village itself is settled in a midst of a beautiful forest of Psunj mountain. Psunj is one of the oldest mountains in Europe.
It is mostly covered with natural forests of Beech and Oak trees, some of them more than 250 years old. Intersected with hundreds of little streams and creeks. Abundant with life in all it forms.
The vision we are building for the village is to become a heart of the new community that is gathering together to build a better life for themselfs, and also to serve as a living example of better, healthier and happier ways of living.
Since 2023. We are also hosts of a biennale festival whose main purpose in this moment is to share the vision of the place and to attract the right people to join us in cocreation.
The big part of this years work will concern building up the the farm elements like chicken coop, fencing, barn roofing, bush cleaning, gardening, as well as construction work, painting, digging, wood cutting etc.
For the accomodation we can offer you a place for a tent or your camping vehicle near our house. Also we just recently bought a house in the village next to ours (5km away), with a three double bed sleeping rooms, living room and kitchen.
Some of the above mentioned work will be happening on this site as well.
Concerning the food we are providing you ingredients for a breakfast and a dinner.
Lunch will mostly be common, prepared by us or by you guys ( We again take care of the ingredients), So, three meals per day.
Food we usualy eat is mostly vegeterian, sometimes some grilled meat or some traditional Croatian meet or fish dish.
What we are expecting from you is proactivity and eagernes to be of help.
Minimal stay is one week. Although we do prefer two week or longer stay.
The site is open for workawayers from the 1st. of May onwards.
We would be happy to see you and meet via video call, after some initial contact and prior to your arrival.

You can learn some practical skills like working with various tools, gardening, building with natural materials like stones, dirt and wood. Food proccesing like fermenting or making jams, chutneys and many other things from Permaculture and Regenerative agriculture.

In general Im always happy to learn some basics of new language as well as to teach you some croatian.
Acomodação
For the accomodation we can offer you a place for a tent or your camping vehicle near our house. Also we just recently bought a house in the village next to ours (5km away), with a three double bed sleeping rooms, living room and kitchen.
There is no public transportation to the village. We can pick you up in Pakrac or Lipik, the closest two little towns.

The most precious things this little remote village offers, by my oppinion, are the peace, natural beauty, hilly forest for endless hikes and fresh air . There is a small crystal clear river to swim in and lots of space to take time alone. At the times of our festival there will be a large community to share music, stories and experiences with.
Also in the year without festival, as this one is, there will be weekend gatherings with familly, friends, and friends of friends where lot of fun things is going to happen.

Jade lived with me and couple of other workawayers for something like two weeks or so.. We did a lot of job these days, had some good food together and peacefull moments under the wallnut tree. Jade is a very nice young woman, easy going and ready to help wherever needed.

I stayed with Kristijan and Petra at their house for a fun and fulfilling week.
