We are a Dutch retired couple .
UNFORTUNATELY MY WIFE HANNIE PASSED AWAY IN JULY !!!
you must be able to cook for yourself i take care of the things you need for it.
And we been living 20 years in Portugal
We live in the middle of Portugal, near the Serra da Esterela.
just outside the village Midoes municipality Tabua.
Together with our dogs and cat
We have a quinta of 2,5 hectares
We love living here.We enjoy the good food and fine wine.
The peace and quiet
and especially the friendly and hospitable people here
We search every year again people who want to help us
from mid-October until end of March
For one or two weeks max -

You can learn how to pick olives and how we make olive oil.

Acomodação
We offer a wooden chalet in which to live.
It has a living room, kitchen where everything is available.
There is a sofa-bed in the house.
There is a bathroom with shower and toilet and sink.
We provide food during the working week the weekend you are free of duty and you have too buy en make your own food
and how everything else is classified, we can discuss further -

We live on a small farm about 2 kms from the nearest village.
There is a restaurant a post office, bank office, butcher, bakery, pharmacy, a beautiful church,
and everything you need to live.
We have three friendly dogs. The main town in the area - Oliveira do Hospital - is 12 kms away. Our immediate neighbours are Portuguese speaking but there are some English and Dutch speaking ex-pats in the area. There are nice walks and views in the area.
there are a lot of cultural places.
And in the winter there is the opportunity to go skiing in the Serra da Esterela.
We also find it fun to eat together and in the evening to have a drink.

It may be beneficial to have your own transportation if choosing us, as we are situated in a beautiful part of the country with many amazing attractions, but are not serviced by public transport systems.
We do require volunteers to have health or travel insurance. -

José and Fraziska are the best workawayers we have ever had.
José can work with any machine, from chainsaw to tractor, assisted by Fraziska, they form a supper team that can work completely independently.
