I spent a few days at Deborah's place as part of a longer trip, and I truly enjoyed my time there. During my stay, I helped out at a recycling association center, cared for and played with her dog, did some experimental cooking, assisted with gardening, and had fun cycling around. I also enjoyed practicing and discussing yoga with Deborah, sharing
… read more meals with her friends, and enjoying the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere (reading by the fireplace with the cats). Deborah is really easygoing, and as I mentioned, I had a wonderful time.

I can't express how much I enjoyed staying at Debora's place. The morning coffee chats in the kitchen, the gardening projects, the driving experiences, and the mini walks with the two dogs—all these memories are precious and unforgettable.
My Workaway tasks varied each day. I planted herbs and vegetables in the garden, drove with Debora to the
… read more market and for walks with the dogs, and cooked some meals. One of the highlights was Debora's amazing idea of creating a "bad taste" area in her garden. I helped design the interior and decorations with her, which was definitely the highlight of my stay!
I was also fascinated by Debora's house. It's very cozy and charming, reflecting her sense of creativity. I especially loved her kitchen, filled with various herbs, spices, teas, and vegetables from the garden. Her garage, full of handcrafted items, was incredibly inspiring.
Also, she gave me many opportunities to practice my French with her friends and within her community, which was very helpful.

I spent 6 days in Deborah's place with my girlfriend. We were lucky because we could meet also Robin (Deborah 's son), very funny and interesting guy.
Deborah's home is very lovely and well heated (important condition considering that we stayed there in december!)
Deborah is very kind and funny, I loved her sense of humour. We spent a lot of time
… read more together enjoying our meals with discussion never trivial, always in a good atmosphere.
Roxy, the dog, is really smart (can close doors alone if Deborah asks It to her!) and wants always playing like a puppy, go walking with her is fantastic!
Ah, I was forgetting the bread, Deborah's bread is very delicious, ask her for it!!
I hope to meet Deborah again :)

Lovely days at Deborah's place.
She is the best yoga teacher and a very interesting person.
Deborah and all of his friends were able to make me feel in a warm place and I owe them a lot.

We had three wonderful weeks with Deborah and Roxy :)
Deborah is a very caring person and shared her beautiful home and time with us. It was much fun to work together on different tasks like the stairs to the Yoga-platform. The Yoga-platform in between all those great trees was amazing.

… read more conversations. The walks through nature with her and Roxy-dog were very nice. The food was very good and together we tried out new ideas in cooking.

I had a really special time here hard to summarise into a review! Deborah was a bighearted and thoughtful host right from meeting me en route in Narbonne up until even taking me to the airport when I left. … read more French life in the countryside and I really felt like I got to know the area thanks to Deborah’s generosity with showing me around – among the many highlights are great local markets big and small and the beautiful hilly landscapes. Also Deborah’s garden and house are lovely and you instantly feel at home. There is also a really nice communal feeling when friends and guests are there – lots of great conversations over great food and wine. And amazing cheese! I really felt like I didn’t do my fair share of work, what I did do was very enjoyable, light garden work, some feedback with marketing materials and the hugely enjoyable taking Roxy for walks in the surrounding forest. This Workaway is perfect for a nature lover who loves spending time in the garden and walking, and being somewhere calm yet convivial. Thank you so much Deborah and Roxy (and Reynald!) for going so much out of your way to show me places and make my stay so memorable!
