  Kebun Belakang is a small permaculture farm run by a family of four and three dogs . We don’t have any paid workers, its only the husband and wife that do the gardening. we are located in the city of Bandung-West Java , Indonesia. it is a private farm located in urban area. we are very active in promoting sustainable lifestyle to the public. we often held workshops about natural farming and also natural building. We occasionally receive some volunteers in the farm to help us to do our routine work in the farm. right now we are also building a natural building. it is a two story building made of bamboo and earth. so if you are interested about build a mud house. you are very welcome!

  during your stay you can use your free time to explore Bandung City as well as visit some interesting places. our farm is also have regular gardening activity so you can meet some locals who have big interest in permaculture.

  Ajuda

  the main task for volunteers is to help us do our daily work at the farm. such as feed the chicken, weeding, seedling, planting, and harvesting. a good knowledge of natural farming or permaculture is appreciated but we are also open to those who have big interest about permaculture. the farm is currently building a natural building (wattle and daub house) so those who have experience in building a natural building then you are very welcome to help. the volunteer is expected to help us 4-5 hours a day. It is in the morning until noon (8 am- 12 pm) 5 days a week from Monday-Friday (afternoon is free time).
  
  we will provide you food: home made breakfast and lunch is prepared by us but for dinner you can use our outdoor kitchen and we also will provide you some local ingredients so you can cook your own dinner. contact us if you are interested. cheers!

  we have a bamboo house for volunteer to stay. we have one bathroom and toilet located separated from the room. we don't have washing machine so you can only wash your laundry manually, or you can go to laundry service that close from our farm.

  the farm is actually located in the busy residential area, it is located in Cimahi-Bandung. the farm is run by a married couple with two children (7 and 9) and three dogs. we love to meet new people with the same interest.
