We seek a volunteer to help on on our property near Ravensthorpe (between Albany and Esperance) that runs 1,000 sheep. People who love the peace and quiet of the bush, native plants and animals, bushwalking and cycling will enjoy it here. Our farm is close to the Fitzgerald River National Park and beautiful beaches are 45km away.

You will get a unique experience working on an Australian sheep property. There are also opportunities to see native animals "up close".
Help includes looking after the vegetable garden and orchard, fencing, general maintenance, construction, wood cutting and collecting, and sheep work. Lambing occurs in August-September and lamb marking in October. Ability to drive a manual vehicle is an advantage.

Accommodation is in a caravan. All food provided. You can create your own meals most of the time and dine with us in our house sometimes. So you need to be able to cook or at least be willing to learn! You need to be self-sufficient and able to entertain yourself as you will be on your own a lot of the time.
We a person who is reliable, self-motivated, enthusiastic, physically fit and willing to work unsupervised. You must be able to understand and speak English.
We work 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) for 5 to 8 hours per day, depending on what needs to be done. Weekends are spent exploring the local area or just relaxing and reading a book.
We welcome people from other countries. We can collect you from the bus which travels via Ravensthorpe -see for timetables.
