Hey There,
A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU READ THIS OR TEXT US:
* There is a minimum of a 1 month commitment.
* We want individual travelers.
* We won't take volunteers under 21 years.
Our surf school is a place that offers different spaces and activities for all those who are traveling, from comfortable and spacious rooms, place to work outdoors, to a terrace with the best sunsets in all of Huanchaco, as well surf trips and visits to nearby museums.
We are located on the main avenue of one of the most historic coastal resort in Peru.
We have double rooms, with shared bathroom, a kitchen with all the necessary elements to prepare all the food in an easy and practical way.
Our proyect is management by owners Laura and Diego.

Even if you've never caught a wave in your life, we're more than happy to teach you, insuring that you not only learn how to surf but also have an amazing time doing it.
But there's so much more to Perú than just its incredible waves. This beautiful country is steeped in rich culture and stunning natural beauty. You'll have the chance to explore all that Perú has to offer. From vibrant local markets to ruins full of history.

We are seeking open-minded travelers to join our team at our fabulous Surf Hostel located in the gorgeus Huanchaco. As a receptionist or surfinstructor, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You'll assist with check-ins, give tours of the hostel, and answer any questions our guests may have. Fluency in English is a must, and some knowledge of Spanish is preferred.
We are a busy, dynamic team and we are looking for people who are as enthusiastic and energetic as us!
Are you a surfer? Even better! While it's not mandatory, if you can share your skills and knowledge with our guests, it would be amazing. Who wouldn't want to learn to surf in the gorgeous setting of Huanchaco?
Cleaning toilets? Not your thing. Don't worry, we've got it covered! Our dedicated cleaning staff will take care of the dirty work, leaving you free to help keep the hostel organized and tidy.
As a hostel, socializing and connecting with our guests is essential. So, if you're ready for an exciting adventure and have a month to spare, we want you to join our team!
Weekly schedule is flexible, we generally rotate days off.
We ask that you read all the information prior to requesting a volunteer reservation. Thank you in advance!
It is important that you understand that we do expect you to work and complete the tasks. We are kind and generous, and run a tight ship. If the tasks we need help with don't appeal to you, please do not apply to come.

You must provide your own transportation to Huanchaco, La Libertad, Perú. We will be happy to help you with directions, and/or shuttle services. You will most likely have a shared room with another volunteer. Please come prepared to feed yourself.
We offer you single bed in one of our vibrant shared dorms, complete with fresh sheets.
Each bed has a bookshelf and plug for phone or laptop, Laundry facilities.
You'll be able to recharge and relax in a comfortable and clean environment, perfect for those who want to make the most of their time here.
You'll have full access to our high-speed WiFi, perfect for staying connected with friends and family back home. Plus, our fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal, so you can whip up your favorite meals whenever you want.
We WONT´ BE providing any meals included ourself, but we know a great local restaurant where you can eat rice & curry buffet for $2, so no worries!

We're just a stone's throw away from the best waves in all Huanchaco and with that I mean waves in front of the door. And for those seeking some peace, our tranquil terrace area will leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, while watching the sunset.
Oh! very important ;-) You have to love our cats Minca and Tigre, as much as they will love you ;-)
Museums (Chan Chan, El Brujo, Sol y La Luna), trekking to Campana Apu, surf trips to Chicama and Pacasmayo.
Our Surfhostel boasts breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, incredible SunSets and you can enjoy our direct beach access just steps from your front door, with world-class waves right in front. When you're ready to take a break, there are plenty of amazing restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities just a short walk away.
Depending on the season you will share with 2 to 3 other volunteers and permanent staff members between 2-3.
There will be a three day training period upon your arrival to get you acquainted with our system and work flow at the hostel.
