  Hello and welcome! 👋
  
  We are a small family living just outside Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland, and we’d love to welcome a Workawayer who enjoys spending time with children and would like to be part of our everyday family life.
  
  Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is warm, caring, and child-centered – someone who genuinely enjoys being around little ones. Our daughter is 1 year old, so the main help will be keeping her company, playing, and creating a safe, happy, and fun environment for her.
  
  Alongside childcare, we’d also appreciate help with cooking, tidying, and light housework.
  
  We ask for up to 25 hours of help per week (usually spread across 5 days). In return, you’ll have your own comfortable room, all meals included, and plenty of opportunities to improve your English.In line with Irish regulations, if any extra hours are agreed, they will also be paid.
  
  What we offer:

  At least 2 days off with free time to explore Mullingar and the beautiful lakes and countryside nearby. However, we are very flexible and open.
  
  About the area:
  Our home is in a peaceful location just outside Mullingar, a lively town with cafes, shops, music, and culture. We’re surrounded by lakes and lovely walks, and Dublin is only about an hour away by train or bus – perfect for day trips. However, as we live in the countryside if you have a license to drive and have a car that would be even better. But we can facilitate lifts to local train and buses too.

  A person who enjoys family life and joining in with day-to-day routines
  Flexible and happy to lend a hand with cooking and light housework
  Bonus if you love to play, sing, read stories, or do creative activities with kids!

  Mullingar is 5 minutes drive away, and we would be happy to give lifts in and out of town. On your time off, if you would like to explore more of Ireland there are trains and buses from Mullingar. Also, on some weekends we would be delighted to bring you around to different places to visit and explore!
