  I live alone in a fabulous location on the south east coast of Sydney. I am close enough to the city to enjoy that vibe but I am surrounded by the quiet of a small seaside suburb. I love my garden and it keeps be busy and my 2 dogs keep me company.
  
  I spend some time away visiting and caring for family My neighbours are like family and as I have lived here for 30 plus years i know my area very well. I ride my bike to where I need to go locally but have public transport at my doorstep for longer trips.
  
  I am an active outdoors person I am involved with some charity work ( Wrap With Love) and am intending to return to community gardening soon.
  
  At times I will be away from home for a few days. In this time you may be asked to care for the house plants , garden and pets ( feeding and walking 2 small friendly dogs) and ensure the house is secure when you are not there.

  Oportunidades de intercâmbio cultural e aprendizado

  I am an art teacher ( retired) and I love showing off beautiful Sydney to visitors especially its waterways, harbour walks, architecture, artworks and hidden gems. I speak fluid Italian and have travelled a fair bit but would love to hear about other places and experiences people have had. I know Sydney well and my area particularly well. I know the national
  Parks near me and their natural and cultural significance. Surfing, bushwalking skateboarding, snorkelling, rock fishing, cycling, outdoor gymnasiums, social clubs are all easily accessible. I’d be very happy to share my knowledge and have company on any of these activities.

  I speak Italian reasonably well but don’t have a lot of practice as I mostly speak my parents dialect. I am genuinely interested in other cultures and people’s history.

  private bedroom and bathroom with large bed and storage. Unlimited internet, shared tv , laundry. Bicycle ( not electric) , surfboard, bodyboard, kite, camping equipment if needed.
  Use of kitchen and happy to share cooking and food.
  This is a non smoking household and alcohol not provided.

  Public transport bus at door which provides a direct link to UNSW and the light rail stop for direct transport to city centre and circular quay. You’ll need an opal card or pay with credit card (no cash ).
  
  Use of any recreational equipment at the house Eg bicycle, surfboard etc. is encouraged!
  I live in a quiet suburban area but if you like the ocean and outdoors there is much to do!
