  Hola Workawayers!
  
  We are Leonor and Emrah, a Spanish-Turkish- couple with an international background who have lived in different countries over the years, most recently in Istanbul. We both work remotely and enjoy meeting respectful, curious and open-minded people from different cultures. Between us we speak English, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese, Danish, German and French.
  
  Our home is a spacious villa with a peaceful atmosphere, beautiful Mediterranean light and a strong sense of creativity and openness. We have a large garden, swimming pool, terraces and many outdoor spaces to relax, read, work or enjoy conversations after the day’s activities.
  
  We are passionate about renovation, interior design and creative projects, so there is always some DIY idea, improvement or transformation happening around the house and garden.
  
  The house is located in a quiet residential area of Arenys de Mar, only 5 minutes from the beach. The area is perfect if you enjoy nature, the sea, local fish restaurants, cafés and authentic Mediterranean lifestyle while still being close to Barcelona or Costa Brava for day trips and cultural activities.
  
  We especially enjoy the balance between calm daily life and creative energy. Our backgrounds are in fashion, entrepreneurship and international projects, so there are always interesting conversations, ideas and ongoing projects around the house.
  
  We appreciate people who are independent, easygoing and serious about contributing to the project while enjoying a relaxed and inspiring environment.

  We enjoy creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where people can connect naturally while still having their own space and independence. Depending on the week and everyone’s schedules, we sometimes share dinners or other relax activities.
  
  Arenys de Mar has a lovely local atmosphere with beaches, cafés, fish restaurants, hiking areas and easy access to Barcelona and the Costa Brava, so there are many opportunities to explore local culture and meet people.
  
  Because of our international background and professional experience, we are also happy to share knowledge related to fashion, entrepreneurship, branding, creativity, design thinking and international business experiences. We enjoy conversations about culture, travel, architecture, personal projects and creative ideas.
  
  We believe hosting is not only about getting help, but also about exchanging perspectives and learning from each other. One of the things we value most is meeting people from different cultures, hearing their stories and discovering new ways of thinking and living.
  
  We are also happy to help anyone interested in improving their Spanish through daily conversations and shared activities around the house. Since we speak several languages and have lived in different countries, we enjoy cultural and language exchange in a natural and relaxed way.
  
  For us, the ideal experience is when everyone contributes something — skills, ideas, energy, conversations or inspiration — and leaves with good memories and meaningful connections.

  Ajuda

  Workawayers will mainly help with creative outdoor and light maintenance projects around the house and garden. The help is varied and depends on the moment, the weather and ongoing projects, but most tasks are practical, relaxed, collaborative, and designed for learning together.
  Current projects include painting and decorating parts of the house, helping maintain a natural stone wall, gardening, replanting sections of the vertical garden, organizing outdoor spaces and helping us arrange a small creative studio area in the garden for our personal hobbies. Keeping shared spaces clean and tidy is also something we all contribute to together as part of daily life in the house.
  
  Some tasks are physical and outdoors, so it helps if you enjoy practical projects, nature and being active. At the same time, we care much more about attitude, reliability and positive energy than any previous experience. This is a family home, and no professional skills are required at all.
  
  We usually work together on many tasks and enjoy sharing ideas, skills and different ways of doing things. We are happy to exchange knowledge along the way, especially in areas related to creativity, DIY, design and language exchange.
  
  We provide three meals a day for our Workawayers and look forward to sharing daily life, cultural backgrounds, and meaningful conversations around the table. We are vegetarians and prepare healthy, home-cooked vegetarian meals, which we are happy to share with our guests.
  There is also full access to the kitchen for anyone who would like to prepare their own food. Workawayers are welcome to cook meals that fit their personal preferences or dietary requirements, including non-vegetarian dishes if they wish.
  
  The atmosphere is relaxed but responsible. We appreciate people who can do tasks independently when needed, communicate clearly and respect the shared environment and routines of the house.

  Acomodação

  Workawayers will stay in a comfortable private king-size bedroom inside our villa, with beautiful views of the garden, swimming pool and the Mediterranean Sea, as well as access to a private bathroom. The house is located in a very peaceful residential area, ideal for people who appreciate calm surroundings, nature and a relaxed lifestyle near the coast.
  
  We prefer to keep the atmosphere easygoing and based on mutual respect, good communication and common sense rather than too many strict house rules.

  During their free time, Workawayers can enjoy the beaches, marina, fish restaurants and local life of Arenys de Mar, as well as explore many beautiful places along the coast. The Costa Brava is easily accessible, and there are excellent train connections both north and south along the Mediterranean coast, including Barcelona and Sitges.
  
  The train station is around 7 minutes walking from the house, and Barcelona city center can be reached in approximately 35 minutes, making it very easy to enjoy day trips, cultural activities, nightlife, museums or simply explore the city.
  
  Life at home is calm and respectful. This is not a party house, so no parties are allowed in the house or garden areas. We both work from home and value a peaceful atmosphere.
  
  We also share the house with Yogurt, our very sweet and calm Swiss Shepherd dog, who is affectionate and friendly with people.
  
  We appreciate mature, considerate and easygoing people who enjoy relaxed environments, nature, creativity and respectful coexistence.

  Our place can work well for digital nomads or people with remote projects, as long as they are able to balance their work with the agreed helping hours and maintain good communication. There is good WiFi in the house and several comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces where it is possible to work, read or focus quietly. Because we also work from home, we appreciate people who are respectful of shared spaces, noise levels and routines during working hours. The environment is calm, inspiring and ideal for people looking for a more balanced lifestyle near the sea while still staying connected to creative or professional projects.

  Well-behaved pets may be accepted depending on the situation and compatibility with our dog Yogurt, a calm and friendly Swiss Shepherd. Please contact us in advance with some information about your pet before applying.
