  We are a tour and travel agency focussed on enjoying the nature and wildlife of the area. We are located in Buritaca, 46 Km from Santa Marta, Colombia. We operate tubing tours on the Buritaca river, walks though the jungle and are growing our list of activities on offer. We are a young company, working alongside some of the best hostels and hotels in the area, as well as taking walk-in customers passing through the area.
  
  We are looking for bilingual volunteers to help promote our tours in the local area. Volunteers will help promote the tours at local hostels and hotels. They will also help to promote the tours to foreign and national tourists visiting Buritaca and the area for the day.
  
  Somos una agencia de viajes y turismo enfocada en disfrutando de la flora y fauna de la region. Estamos ubicados en Buritaca, a 46 Km Santa Marta, Colombia. Ofrecemos salidas en boyas en el Rio Buritaca, caminatas ecológicas en la selva, y estamos creciendo nuestra lista de actividades que ofrecemos. Somos una empresa joven, que trabaja con unos de los mejores hostales y hoteles de la zona. Ademas, trabajamos bastante con las turistas que están pasando por Buritaca día por día.
  
  Estamos buscando un voluntario bilingüe para promocionar esos tours en la zona. Voluntarios van a apoyar con tours en la zona. También van a ayudar promocionar a las turistas que están pasando por Buritaca y la zona cada día.

  Ajuda

  Help to promote our tours in the surrounding hostels and hotels. Day to day activities will include visiting the hotels and hostels of the area to encourage people to discover more of the area. It should be a fun, activity based tasks with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills!
  
  We need this help as our team of 15 local staff members do not speak good English, whilst most of the foreign tourists in the area do not speak Spanish. Whilst helping us with the promotional work, we would appreciate any help possible with our English language skills, particularly speaking. Our team consists of the 6 partners, who guide and promote the tours and promote to Colombian tourists, our bookings manager, and several local young men who guide the tours on a daily basis. Our English is very basic (this was written by an English friend who has a hostel close by!).

  Ayuda promocionando los tours en los hostales y hoteles de la zona. Día por día vas a visitar los hoteles y hostales para promocionar los tours y caminatas. Es un trabajo divertido, haciendo ,muchos actividades y excursiones, con varias oportunidades aprender más! Queremos también aprender Ingles básico del voluntario, en particular hablar. Somos 6 socios, que guían y promocionan los tours, nuestra gerente de reservas y varios locales que guían los tours día por día. En este momento nuestra nivel de Ingles es muy básico (un amigo hostelero escribo este texto!)

  Home stay with one of the owners of the company in Buritaca (local house in town). We also work closely with a couple of hostels in the area that offer discounts to our volunteers (complimentary beds in the hostels!), so you can make the most of getting to know the area and socialise with other locals and tourists. As this is the case, all accommodation is provided free of charge.
  We provide all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner - local style food)
  
  Quedando en la casa con uno de los socios de la empresa (casa local en el pueblo). También trabajamos con un par de hostales en la zona, que pueden ofrecer un descuento si vayas por allá por tus días de descanso (no pagas la cama!). Así puedes aprovechar de la zona y conocerlo mas, y socializar con locales y turistas. Eso significa que todo el alojamiento esta gratis.
  Regalamos las 3 comidas (desayuno, almuerzo y la cena - comida típica de la zona)

  We are located in Buritaca 46 km from Santa Marta, where tourism and adventure are in development. Palomino, Tayrona park and the Lost City trek are all really nearby, as are Colombia's Caribbean beaches. Minca is also close by, and the Guajira desert is a good destination for a couple of days off. Santa Marta is the main travel hub (1.5 hours on the local bus). There is an airport with national and international flights and a big bus terminal with busses going to most major cities around Colombia.
  
  Estamos ubicados en Buritaca a 46 Km de Santa Marta, donde el turismo y la aventura estan en desarrollo. Palomino, Parque Tayrona y la Ciudad Perdida esta muy cercas, más las playas del Caribe. Minca también es cerca, y el desierto de La Guajira es un buen destino por un par de días de descanso. (Santa Marta es el ciudad principal para viajar (1.5 horas de Buritaca en un bus local). Hay un aeropuerto con vuelos nacionales y internacionales, y tiene un terminal de transporte grande, con busses que vayan al gran parte de los ciudades mayores de Colombia.
