Help needed starting second part of November 2025 with avocado harvest.
We are a retired couple living on a 1+ acre lot near Pomaire, a rural town 1 hr South of Santiago, Chile. We are trying to build a sustaintable life style by growing as much as possible of our our food and wine. We have avocado trees, walnuts, a small vineyard and a good size vegetable garden, berries, fruit trees.

We are looking for a couple that can help us bottle our wine. Also gardening, weeding and anything related with gardening.

We have one suite avalaible with queen size bed and wifi. Four hours of help every days in exchange for accomodations and any vegetable and fruit produced in the garden.

Pomaire is walking distance from our house. Melipilla is 15 min away by car, there are 2 local busses per day. A car might be available subject to prior arrangements.

The whole experience at Ivette and Marvin's was amazing. All of the moment was special for me. I learned a lot.

We had wonderful time staying in Marvin & Ivette's parcela in Pomaire. We stayed for 1 week and were asked to do 6 hours of work a day for 5 days, with 2 days off (typically working from 9 - 12pm, then preparing lunch for us all, then working 3 - 6pm).

Emily and Robbie were enjoyable to be with. They only spent 1 week at our place and in that week they were able to plant, harvest, weed, fertilized, label our wine bottles and made some fantastic omelettes.
I wish they would have stayed longer but they had travel plans already in place.

We spent two weeks with Ivette and Marvin and really enjoyed the green oasis. Besides the morning routine of harvesting all the delicious vegetables and fruits, we mostly helped them make raisins from the grapes, mowing lawns, bottling and labeling the house wine, planting lemon trees and building frames for a beehive that Marvin built.

I think it should go withpout saying that when somebody expects you to do manual labor, they should provide protective gear like ear muffs etc without balking.
