Amanda (my wife) and I are in our late fifties but are very young at heart. We have a small 35 Hectare farm with a 2 hectare lake in the Vienne France. We have 40 sheep, about 6 pigs, a small herd of alpaca's, a few goats, some dogs and the usual chickens. We have just started hay making, sheering the sheep and alpacas and have to finish some building all work before September. So if you would like to give us a hand drop us a line.

Looking for Volunteers that have some general skills in building/DIY, who are ok with heights as most of the repairs are on roofs (but only single story) and don't mind getting their hands dirty. Dog lovers essential as we have a few dogs as well!

There are a few bars and some good restaurants in the area, also during the summer there are free concerts etc hosted by local communes. we have several mountain bike as it a great area for biking plus there are hundreds of Km of tracks and paths for walking. the lakes available for fishing but unfortunately we do not have any fishing kit at the mo but we can borrow if required.
