We were very free to choose what kind of work we wanted to do in the terraced garden. And we never stopped being amazed by the view when we looked up.
Being able to borrow bicycles from the family was another great bonus.

They are also very experienced and passionate about gardening, and their help with the orchard and vegetable garden was incredibly valuable. We especially appreciated their proactive attitude and the care they put into every task.

… read more approccio con la nostra cagnolina, che è piuttosto timida e diffidente, arrivando da un canile. In poco tempo, è riuscito a guadagnarsi la sua fiducia, e alla fine la nostra piccola lo adorava. La sua calma e discrezione hanno fatto davvero la differenza.
Anche se il tempo che abbiamo passato insieme non è stato moltissimo, soprattutto durante la settimana quando eravamo impegnati con il lavoro e nostro figlio, è stato comunque un piacere condividere con lui i momenti liberi, soprattutto nei weekend, quando potevamo rilassarci un po' di più. Francesco è una persona di cui ci si può fidare, e ci ha fatto piacere poterlo avere con noi.
Speriamo che questa esperienza sia stata positiva anche per lui, e magari un giorno sarà lui nostro ospite!

Ho passato un’esperienza fantastica a casa di Stefano e Viviana! La loro casa è super confortevole, immersa nella natura e perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di lavoro. Il lavoro è stato principalmente in giardino, aiutando a sistemarlo e a renderlo ancora più bello.

… read more degli ospiti. Con loro ho condiviso momenti bellissimi, come l’osservazione delle stelle, passeggiate nella natura e bagni rigeneranti nelle acque fredde dei fiumi! Abbiamo anche mangiato insieme, sia a casa che al ristorante.
È stata un’esperienza meravigliosa e davvero rigenerante. Consiglio questa casa a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza immersa nella natura e scoprire la cultura piemontese.

… read more time when, unexpectedly, we had just adopted a little dog from the shelter, and they were kind enough to adjust their plans to help us finish building the last part of our garden fence, in a hurry, so that our dog Cosmo could roam freely.
Cosmo was very scared of people—still is a little, even after two months—but they approached her with such gentleness and empathy, respecting her space and timing. And in such a short time, Cosmo amazingly started to warm up to them and trust them.
Our experience, both in terms of work and on a personal level, was incredible, and we really hope we’ll get to see them again someday!Comentário

We hosted Annette & Dale for some weeks in June. They are a nice couple, very polite and respectful. We appreciated their help with painting the entrance gate which now looks great and with gardening and preparing our veggie garden. … read more finished a task and had extra time, they looked around for something else to do.
They have a super green thumb and gave us interesting advices.
They also enjoyed staying with our son and do some babysitting with no problems despite our son speaks very small English. Annette is also very much interested in learning Italian and she did a great job improving her language skills during her stay.
Annette & Dale are both sociable and independent in the perfect mix. We spent some dinners toghether and much enjoyed the chats and the exchanges.
We were also very happy to participate in the fantastic family news that came from Australian right during their stay here.
We welcome Annette & Dale to visit us again as our guests!

We had a wonderful time staying in Torre Pellice in the beautiful home and separate apartment of Stefano and Viviana. The region is so beautiful with daily views to the mountains. Stefano was a fun guy to work alongside who also helped me with my language. Viviana was a beautiful caring soul who loves to host, and shared a lot about their culture
… read more with us. We enjoyed having independence and yet living among their lifestyle. Stefano set us to task with gardening and painting. We also spent a bit of time with their son who also gave me some language practice. Sharing a few meals together was a highlight - including visiting a couple local restaurants with local dishes.
We enjoyed several long walks into the local towns. The hills weren’t too bad and we had great weather for being outdoors.
We will always have fond memories of our almost 3 weeks spent there.

The house is in a green, quiet location yet just a half-hour walk to a nice little town with cafés, shops and a weekly market and with good bus connections. Not just great helpers, but also fantastic people with great empathy, respectful, with whom you can have super interesting conversations over a glass of wine. And then they were simply great with our son who adored them and always looked for them to play with.
We are looking forward to host them again in July to look after our son!

Aside this, they cooked for us an excellent Hungry lunch and Peter’s home made bread is honestly delicious.
Brigi has been super with our child and they genuinely went along so well together.
We could finish the fence of our vegetable garden despite it was quite a lot of work and they helped us with sanding the gate. Peter also showed to be very good at welding which was an activity we didn’t take into account.
Brigi&Peter Lived in our small apartment on the ground floor. They were independent but yet we met often at night to share dinners or chat.
We very much advise them as Workaway and as especially nice people to have around!
