    Descrição

Tucked away in a quieter part of North Goa, our space is a small piece of land that we, Ashwin and Tanisha, have been slowly shaping over the last few years.

What used to be a neglected space has, over time, turned into a living, breathing environment through organic farming, simple building, and a lot of hands-on work. It’s still evolving, and that’s a big part of what makes it meaningful.

We’ve also built a café space on the land. And before opening it fully, we’re focusing on building a community around it. Small gatherings, clean-up drives, nature walks, conversations, and shared experiences. This is the phase where we’d love people to come in and be part of shaping the space with us.

What sould you expect in different seasons:

    Summer · March to May
The forest is dry and the days are long and golden. We work in the early mornings and return to it in the evenings when things cool down. This is the season for farm prep, woodwork, creative projects, and slow earthy work that needs patient hands. Summer here has a quiet rhythm to it once you settle in.

    Monsoon · June to October
Everything turns green almost overnight. The forest comes alive, the farm drinks it all in, and the pace shifts. This is the season for indoor creative work like painting, crafts, kitchen projects and watching the land completely transform around you. Expect mud, mist, and a lot of birds.

    Winter · November to February
This is Goa at its best. Cool mornings, clear skies, and the forest full of migratory birds. Farm work picks up, the community grows, and this is honestly the most beautiful time to be here. If you're a birdwatcher, you'll understand why people don't want to leave.

    What life looks like here

You wake up to birds, not alarms. (We have more than 250 species of birds in this area) Meals are vegetarian, cooked together, and eaten without hurry. The work is real and hands-on, be it farming, painting, nature trails, community activities, birdwatching, and whatever the season calls for. Mondays are yours to explore the temples, markets, and quiet villages around us.

This is not a resort or a retreat. It's a living, growing place and we're looking for people who want to be genuinely part of it.

A few practical things to know

    1. Stay duration : We ask for a minimum of two weeks of volunteering. The longer you're here, the more you'll settle in and get out of it. At max you can volunteer for 3 weeks.
    2. Food : We provide simple, home-cooked vegetarian meals. If you're vegan, we'd suggest picking up your vegan milk, butter, or anything specific from the city on your way here, as it isn't easily available locally.
    3. Toilets : We have Indian-style toilets. Please bring your own toiletries and anything else you need for personal comfort.
    4. Getting here : The easiest and most local way is by bus, though you'll need to change a couple along the way. Taxis work too. If you'd like us to pick you up from the airport, we're happy to arrange that at a nominal cost, just let us know at least a day or two in advance so we can plan accordingly.
    5. Getting around : We don't have bikes to lend, but renting one in Goa is easy and genuinely the best way to explore. Most volunteers sort this out within their first day.

You’ll interact with our team, local staff, neighbors, and visitors who come to the café. This gives you a real experience of village life in Goa, including local food, markets, simple routines, and a slower pace compared to tourist areas.

We love history and culture, so conversations often shift to stories about India, along with Goa’s unique past. If you’re curious, you’ll probably learn a lot just by being around.

We’re also happy to share everyday activities like cooking Indian meals, understanding local customs, caring for the land, and running a small café in a forest setting. At the same time, we enjoy learning from volunteers too. People bring their own skills, cultures, recipes, music, and perspectives, making the experience interesting for everyone.

  • Ajuda

    Ajuda

Life here is fun and we can promise you will never be bored. Most of the work falls into a few areas:

    Farming & Land Care
Preparing the land, weeding, planting, watering, composting, and supporting the growth of whatever the season is bringing up. You get your hands dirty in the best possible way.

    Building & DIY Projects
There's always something being improved, fixed, or built from scratch. Small construction, repairs, and hands-on projects that shape the space a little more each day.

    Creative Contributions
We love it when you bring your skills to the table. Photography, videography, stonework, murals, carpentry - if you are good at any craft, there's almost certainly a place for it here.

    Community & Social
This is a big focus for us right now. We're organising community events, clean-up drives, nature walks, and local outreach activities. We're also growing our presence online and would love help from anyone who enjoys content creation, reels, storytelling, or just has a good eye for capturing real moments. If you've ever wanted to help build something from the ground up, this is it.

  • Acomodação

    Acomodação

Volunteers stay in a traditional Mangalorean-style house on the farm. Up to four volunteers can stay here at a time, each with their own bed. There is a shared living area with a cozy setup where people relax, read, chat, or hang out after work.

The room has a bathroom with an Indian-style toilet. All basic facilities are available.

Outside, there is plenty of open space to walk around, stretch, sit outdoors, or enjoy the greenery. It’s a peaceful environment, very different from city life.

We provide healthy vegetarian meals, mostly simple home-style food. When our cook is unavailable, we may cook together or prepare easy meals. You’re also welcome to use the kitchen for basic tasks.

  • Algo mais...

    Algo mais...

Mondays are yours - rest, explore, or do both. However, if you are staying for less than 10 days, we'll have a lighter day for you instead of a full holiday on Monday. The reason is pretty simple - a shorter stay goes by fast, and we want you to leave having actually experienced something meaningful rather than just scratching the surface.

Goa has a quieter, wilder side that most travellers never find and you'll be right in the middle of it. Old temples tucked into the forest, spice farms, local markets, ancient villages, and a few beaches that haven't been taken over yet. We will love to help you plan the best trips.

    A note on commitment

We put a lot of heart into hosting and we ask for the same energy in return. We've had experiences where volunteers confirmed, made plans with us, and then disappeared at the last minute and that's genuinely not a great experience. So if you're seriously interested, we'd love to hear from you. And if your plans are still uncertain, no worries at all, just reach out when you're ready. We'd rather wait for the right person than rush into something that doesn't work for either side.
