  We cant offer you an eco project experience though we do respect the environment or not so much teach a new skill; what we can offer is a safe and comfortable safe base Piont to stay while you explore our beautiful state. Our fridge and pantry is always well stocked. . We love animals so have a quite a few pets who love nothing more than to be spoilt with cuddles. Sorry but we can only host females at this time .

  This is a good base point if you wish to explore Melbourne and its surroundings so not
  Much we can teach you ..The train station to Melbourne city is 5 minutes walk, and 25/35 minutes by train to city centre. You will have a calm, safe accomodation and After work is done you can take the train to the city centre and exploring our great city or explore its outer suburbs around the beaches, rain forests or mountains.

  Firstly it would help if you can give your dates of arrival and departure …House cleaning and possibility some gardening and pet care and cleaning up after them . We have 2 small dogs that love nothing more than to be spoilt with attention in return that will entertain with love and laughter. 2 cats, African fish, and an eastern dragon and now a new addition 2 turtles Can you tell we love animals? All our pets love people. Someone with a good sense of organising would be Great!. We would prefer volunteers over the 35 … We would also prefer to host those who wish longer term stays. We had many workawayers who extended their stay so if on our calendar states the month is available it may not be …We have had many wonderful experiences and enjoy different cultures. I am a chef and have enjoyed learning different cuisines from our past workawayers.

  We have a fully furnished bedroom with a king single bed, and access to other parts of the house.There is also a relaxing court yard almost a zen feeling in warmer weather when you sit out there with lots of greenery and a small pond and the sound of the waterfall is so tranquil. 2 small longneck turtles who plays with the fish will come out to say Hi. Internet is unlimited which your welcome to. Our house is always fully stocked with food, mostly fresh produce.

  I would just like to add in this edit … there is a difference to loving animals and tolerating them . So from experience if it’s just tolerance then we are not the host for you due to from some of our experience in hosting . Our pets are our family and believe it or not they actually feel the difference .. We live in a suburb but the best part of the multicultural suburb. There are 5 shopping malls or centres surrounding us. Everything is very close.
  There is a bus stop right outside and across from the house. Train station is a 5 minute walk. It takes about 20-35 minutes to get to our major city melbourne by train. This depends on the time frame.
  Melbourne is a beautiful city with so much to do, it is the arts capital, winner of the best liveable city again in 2016 and our country side there is so much to see from small rain forests in dandenong ranges to beautiful beaches and mountains. We have a lot of parks that are great to explore all can be reached by train.
  We prefer workawayers 35 or over . Also dietary . I work in an industry that I have to provide different diets so unless Im at work I do not want the responsibility to accommodate those who are on specific dietary needs at home. We do not eat pork or pork products at all. We prefer halal or kosher

  Charlie and Henry (5 meses)

  These 2 are baby eastern long neck turtles. Henry is shy and hides but Charlie demands attention as soon as she sees you near the tank she would swim up to you and get excited . Sometime we would let her walk around on the floor she’s quite entertaining

  Nala (7 anos)

  Nala is a beautiful bearded dragon native to Australia . She is gentle and loves to be held. She loves the dogs but they ignore her but that doesn’t stop her from running after them . When she was a few months old she would ride on the back of jasper 😂 she was so light then he didn’t feel it .. now fully grown he won’t allow her to

  Aria and jasper (8 anos)

  Both aria and jasper are ragdolls and their characters are exactly that. Aria is sweet and loves to be patted .. jasper does his own thing but likes to be left alone . Good thing about this breed is if you have a cat allergy they won’t affect you . Their fur is like cotton wool and oh what fun it is to brush them

  Pablo (5 anos)

  Pablo gets overexcited and loves to give love bites and it can be scary when you first meet him we have tried training him out of this and the best way is to give him a toy then he wiggles his butt and makes loud weird noises with excitement at meeting you . He will settle after he meets you. Give his belly a scratch and you have a puppy friend for life

  Koko (7 anos)

  Koko is sweet French bulldog . She is toy obsessive and feels every toy is hers . She had surgery on her middle eye which caused one side of her to be deaf and blind but she handles herself well and is quite intelligent
