I LOVE LAST MINUTE REQUESTS, SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE RIGHT NOW, MESSAGE ME! I LOVE TRAVELLERS THAT KNOW HOW TO BE A RESPECTFUL (CLEAN, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL) GUEST. I LOVE MUSICIANS AS WELL!
I am a seasoned traveller (13 years, mostly hitchhiking) and a trained cook and a guitarist. I also somehow got myself into basketball recently, so I try to go shoot some hoops whenever I can. I hosted people on workaway before because I had a pretty cool project where I took a school bus, converted into a veggie oil running community kitchen...it was a beautiful thing thanks to many amazing helpers, but alas, it blew up, so after a few years in Mexico I am back visiting my family in San Francisco. I usually stay with my dad as he is pretty cool, normally hosts people as well and he's my dad. He has a little problem collecting things, so the best case scenario is you'll be helping him to organize things. Other possible help you can provide will be general household clean-up, helping with food projects and probably mostly hanging out.Tipos de ajuda e oportunidades de aprendizado

SAN FRANCISCO:
I live in the middle of San Francisco and was born and raised around here. I know what I like and have had many travellers stay with me and feel I know some cool places to take people or to point them to.
I studied cooking and like do a lot of food-related projects, especially fermenting, so if you ever wanted to learn sauerkraut or kombucha or homemade wines, this could be a fun stop. I also play a lot of music, so if you play as well, even better.Ajuda
ORGANIZING : My father is a very fun guy, he loves burning man and loves collecting weird shit. However, it's a bit out of control at this point and anything we can do to get it a little better, is great. He is pretty particular, so you will not just be given freedom to go organize things. It will be with his lead and probably only a few hours a weekCOOK
CLEANING ; Well, this is the easiest, but most boring job, but hey, a free place to stay in San Francisco for doing a little clean up, ain't too bad. Cleaning up after yourself should be super obvious, so that doesn't count. The reality is, the spaces we use here, we keep pretty clean, so this will just be like weekly deeper cleaning of some things (bathroom, kitchen)
FOOD PROJECTS ; By far this will be the most fun option. However, I am biased. I also don't know how much I will be doing these days, but I am usually making a few projects. I am pretty particular on things, so I am super happy to learn something new, but I have also learned quite a lot and have a pretty good idea of how I want to execute something usually and like for people to be able to listen and follow.
HANGING OUT : Yea, this isn't a hostel where you are working a front desk. In fact, we don't NEED help, we just like hosting travellers and as a traveller myself, i think it's always nice to have a nice vibe and be productive, so if you don't think we'd be friends if it wasn't for a free place, then I am not really sure it's a good idea to come here. If you love travelling and helping and cooking and eating and playing music and maybe even basketball....well then you'll hopefully have a bed here waiting for you.
FIXING STUFF : If you are particularly good at fixing things, then there might be a project or two as well (it's an old house), but don't get disappointed if you don't end up getting asked to do those things.
I can probably only promise a few days at a time right now, I have no nephews and it's the holiday season, so I'll probably want to visit them sometimes and then not host people at those times,.Idiomas

-In a home in San Francisco. I am from San Francisco, and this is my grandparent’s old house, it’s quite a cool and central house, and is now my father's, who lives in the upper unit. I knew the city pretty well, , but a lot has changed as I am normally on the road mysefl, but I can still show you my favorite places and activities and we can possibly take road trips.
I AM SORRY, BUT I CANNOT HOST DOGS, BUT POSSIBLY CATSAlgo mais...
RESPECT; There will be no sexism, racism, homophobia or any of that stupid crap on this project, if you have to ask what else I might be talking about, then this isn't the place for you. Its really quite simple, just don't be an asshole. With that being said, I love to be a sarcastic asshole, so make sure you are ok with people joking around.
If you have read the profile fully and understand everything I have said please include in your request a typical meal from your childhood that you have great memories of.Mais alguns detalhes
