  Experience italian culture in the countryside with a winemaker, a chef and two little girls!
  Slow-life, eco-friendly practices, outdoor activities, wine and good food!
  
  We live in italian countryside, in Piedmont. Alberto (1984) was born and raised in the countryside; he loves its rhythms and its traditions. Carla (1985) grew up between one city and the other, but learned to love the quiet life in Monferrato hills, ruled by seasons and Nature’s rhythm.
  We believe that "returning to nature", to a life in harmony with the wonderful world around us, it’s a priceless treasure and a message that is essential to tell to those around us and to those who will take our place one day. We have two daughters: Frida (2017) and Cora (2022); an Italian Spinone dog and two cats.
  
  We run two businesses: Alberto runs a farm which produces organic wine and firewood. We have about 5 hectares of vineyard, a family vegetable-garden, woods and a Olive tree field shared with another farmer. Carla is a professional chef; she has a "Lab" specialised in high quality catering, private chef, cooking classes, pastries and more...
  
  We love to share free time with new friends and travel though different cultures by hosting foreign people.
  Nature around us is beautiful and wild; there are several trails suitable for bicycles or walking. We are close enough to big cities like Torino, Genova or Milano, so it's possible to reach them by train and spend the day away.

  You will have the opportunity to live rural italian life, surrounded by a stunning nature.
  You will have the opportunity to learn a lot about italian culture and traditions, winemaking, ecological farming, Italian cuisine, creative projects, tourism and everything else you will like to get involved in to.
  
  From our place you can easily reach cultural cities like Milano, Torino and Genova, but also little towns with a lot to tell like Asti, Alba, Casale and touristic areas like Monferrato and Langhe.

  GARDENING & VEGGIES: we have a vegetable garden, a flower garden and olive trees so help with planting and harvesting is always welcome.
  
  BABYSITTING: we have two girls aged 4 and 9. Looking for someone picking up from school and playing with them in the afternoon
  
  EVERYDAY HELP: in preparing meals or riding up/cleaning the house.
  
  HOUSE MANTEINANCE: when living in the countryside you always have maintenance to do. Any help will be appreciated. We are planning to restore the old "Horse Stable" to turn it into a cottage for hosting tourists, so there will be a lot of work to do...

  Acomodação

  We live in a countryside house; the house have a living-room and a kitchen downstairs + three rooms upstairs and a bathroom. There is a private fenced garden.
  You will have a private room and share the bathroom with the rest of the family. The room will be equipped with a bed, a wardrobe and a desk. We have wi-fi connection in all the house but there is no television.
  
  We do NOT HOST SMOKERS. We can't host DOGS or other animals.

  In Cardona there are no shops. The nearest Cafeteria is located in the main town Alfiano Natta, just a few minutes by car or around 10 minutes walking. There are also a small grocery, a post office and a pharmacy.
  
  Asti is 20 km away. You can go there by public transport (not working in August); a bus stops here two to three times a day and arrive to Asti train station. Ticket costs € 2.30 one-way.
  From here you can visit Torino, Milano or Genova in the day. There are a lot of beautiful natural places to visit and ancient churches or towns.

  We are camper van travellers too :) we might not be able to host for longer time -expecially during summer- as we need our location to be accessible during events, but we are open to discuss details.
