  Hi dear everyone!
  
  My name is Selva. I recently joined this project, I arrived here the 1st of October. I was living in Cádiz and when Enrique, the owner of the estate and driving force of this enterprise, told me about his purpose I did not doubt it for a second and moved to Córdoba.
  
  The estate is a 50-hectare private wooded area known for its great beauty and covered with large trees (cork oaks, pines, chestnuts, olive trees, arbutus...). The problem with the forest is that if it is not taken care of, its unavoidable destiny is to be destroyed by a fire. So the forest management is focussed on fire protection and the promotion of biodiversity. Of course, you can imagine the expenses that this conservation work generates...this is why Enrique decided to use this piece of beautiful land as a way to produce the incomes to manage itself.
  
  In order to do that he decided to adapt the place to host campers to generate alternative income that will allow him to continue to preserve this beautiful natural landscape while making it accessible to visitors, so their financial contribution during their stay helps to preserve the forest, which in turn contributes to their enjoyment, health and well-being.
  
  So I came to live here because Enrique lives in Granada and has his life there. My duties are to be in charge of managing the mobilehomes activity and improve the enviroment and services so it is more beautiful and appealing for visitors; Take care of guests so they have a delightful experience here; Take care of the already existing infrastructures and facilities...
  
  Here there is also Hugo. He came from Brazil and has been here for one year now and he is so great. He does all the hard work related to the forest and other maintenance hard work.
  
  I love being here for one of my priorities in life is to live in nature while doing creative things that contribute to others growth and wellbeing, and my own also. And for sure, that is the ritght place and the right people for it. There is always a new project to do to improve the place and the activity which is really motivating and I am willing to share my skills and knowledge with yours! so we can together create a place where artistic activities (dancing, singing, theatre...), growth activities and workshops (yoga, health, cooking...) eventually take place together with the mobile home visitors emerging activity.
  
  A good point is that we are in the heart of the Sierra de Córdoba (Sierra Morena), just 25 minutes by car (12 km) from the centre of Córdoba, the only city in the world with 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites! and many things to do in the city.

  The community is starting to grow. For the moment it's me, Hugo, the guests that visit us and Enrique who comes some days a month. The idea is precisely to have things happening here and people coming to colaborate, share and exchange. And for that, some spaces and facilities need to be arranged and created.
  
  I like cooking, making natural cosmetics, acupuncture, going for walks...and I am willing to share that with you. And I am looking forward to see what I can learn from you. Above all, I am always surprised and delighted with synergies happening when more than one person work and create together.

  Ajuda

  The help needed from the workawayers it's related to the maintenance of the forest, and the parts of the house used by us, the people who live there including the workawayers. Help with animals, the facilities related to water (we just use rain water in the property). We are not asking for help with the mobilehome guests.
  Cleaning the common areas used by the people who live in the property, including the workaway.
  Putting food for birds in the food plates.
  Clear weeds from the area nearby the house.
  Clearing leaves and dates from the area nearby the house.
  Maintenance of the toilet and shower used by workaway.
  Taking trash to the skip (big rubbish bins outside the property).
  Open and close gate for the hens.
  Fill water tanks. We use water from rain.
  Maintenance of the pool (during the summer).
  Cooking.
  Maintenance of the vegetable garden.
  Building dry tolilets so we do not have to use so much water which is so precious for us.
  Other duties or projects thay may arise to maintain the forest.
  And be creative to improve the place and the activity!

  Acomodação

  We offer a mobilehome to live in from mid January. The shower and toilet are outside near the caravan.
  For the meals, each one will cook their own. Of course, I hope we will share some meals from time to time.
  
  If you have your own mobilehome or camper and you want to come before mid January you are more than welcome to stay with us.

  Algo mais...

  For the moment, it may be a better idea for couples to come to workaway with us as the community is not very large yet.
  Also, if you have a means of transport will make your life much easier since we are at 20 minuntes drive from the city.
