  We are a husband-and-wife team who run a BJJ and MMA gym/hostel/camp. Our team also participates in local and national competitions and contributes to community projects at local events such as BJJ and self-defence demonstrations.
  
  We enjoy hosting lively community BBQs with great music and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The gym/hostel is located in a stunning, friendly Italian town, where we enjoy teaching BJJ and MMA to all ages and abilities and sharing the beautiful Brazilian culture, food and music.

  You will have the opportunity to experience and explore living in a beautiful part of southern Italy, practice your language skills, and enjoy the local food and culture.
  
  We would be happy to introduce you to local businesses, share travel experiences, and connect you with others travelling in the area. We have a fitness gym, which Workaway travellers are welcome to use at times when instructors are not coaching the gym/camp clients.

  Ajuda

  We are seeking assistance from travellers who can teach or practice English and/or Italian with our Brazilian instructors, whose first language is Portuguese, in breaks between classes/clients.
  
  Travellers can also choose to contribute/attend the community projects, such as BJJ and self-defence demonstrations at local events, community BBQs.
  
  Workaway travellers will help pitch in with the preparation, cooking, and clearing up of the staff meals.
  
  Language practice - english and Italian
  Assisting with cleaning /cooking (only for the staff areas)
  Helping out at community events
  
  Workaway travellers are not permitted to be involved with, have contact with, or provide any services for the BJJ/MMA classes/camp clients in any way. (other than socialising outside of training/class times if mutually agreed by the traveller and the camp/class clients)

  Acomodação

  We offer two meals per day, lunch and dinner. Instructors, staff and Workaway travellers pitch in with the preparation, cooking, and cleaning up at meal times.
  
  Workaway travellers' sleeping arrangements are separate from the hostel/camp guests. We have two separate small single-size bedrooms in the gym/hostel building, along with separate male/female showering areas that offer complete privacy. A shared kitchen facility is available for travellers, instructors, and hostel staff to use as they please.

  In your time off our instructors or hostel team are happy to show you around the local areas and introduce you to locals for an immersive travel experience. We have local Italian speaking instructors and hostel staff who can help with Italian language skills and practice.

  There is a small cafe area with internet for digital nomads.

  Travellers with a camper van are welcome to bring small dogs, but they will not be permitted to enter the gym. They are welcome to share outside communal areas, and they should sleep in the camper van.
