I´m sorry but I can´t have workawayers here in winter time. The gottage is suitable to stay only in summer. Next free weeks are the first week of May and October 2025.
have a 100 years old wooden house by the sea in the Porvoo archipelago. It is situated in the middle of great nature reserve where birds come to nest in the summertime. My yard is around 4000 sqm and needs to be taken care. The beach and the pier also needs repair. Working here would include cutting branches, digging stones, carrying and cutting woods. Also if you have skills to build things, there is work to be done. In your free time you can explore archipelago by kayak or sup-board or cycle around this island. My place is 15 minute drive from historic Porvoo center ja 1 hour from Helsinki airport. From Porvoo there is bus connection to here on weekdays, the bus stop is opposite my house. I can also give you a lift by car. I have a little one room cottage with a wood heated sauna in my garden where you can stay. You may also use shower in the main house.
I´m working as a primary school teacher in Porvoo. I have a dog, which is friendly and love all the visitors.
The best thing to live here is to enjoy serenity and beauty of the nature. Come to experience this unique place and help me to make it better.

You can explore the Finnish archipelago by kayak or sup-board or go hiking in the woods or cycle around islands. You also have chance to visit historical Porvoo city center even by kayak. You can see Finnish way of living here and taste traditional food.

I am always eager to develop my language skills and also ready to teach Finnish and English. In Porvoo 50 % of people speaks Swedish so that is my learning project too.
Acomodação
I have a one room cottage in my garden with sauna. Inside cottage is one 160 cm wide bed which is suitable for couples. You may also stay in a tent if you wish. There is outhouse toilet nearby. Sauna is traditional wood heated without running water. You may use a shower in my house. In cottage you can make breakfast, snack, coffee, tea etc. There is a little fridge. I will serve dinner in my house or in the garden if the weather is suitable.

I have been a rental host for many years and have had very good experience meeting people all over the world. I am renting my cottage also now and already had very good feedback of my place. So I´m sure that you will enjoy my place and work here if you are nature loving people. I will do my best to take care of you and make you feel home while staying here.
