Luke stayed with us for almost 2 weeks. He is a lovely, well-mannered, very quietly-spoken person. He came to help us with some carpentry work in our small accommodation building. He knew how to operate the tools and do the job required - his skills in this area are very good.
Luke was great helper to have and a great person to host.

Sara is the most beautiful girl - on the outside and the inside! She helped me when I needed a LOT of help, and she never complained once. Sara has a HUGE adventurous spirit and wanted to try her hand at everything and I mean everything! She rode motorbikes, mustered cows on horseback, four wheelers and 2 wheelers. She helped do lick runs for the
… read more cattle, started pumps daily, and helped to fix fences as well. Nothing was too hard for this beautiful girl.
Most of all, Sara helped me with the horses and she tolerated my extremely particular ways with my animals. I ran a ladies clinic here and had an extra 10 ladies with horses that sara had to help feed up, take hay out to, and muck out and she never whinged once!! I would have Sara back in a heartbeat.

It is a very touching and warm feeling thinking back to all of you and the lifestyle you live. I was here for almost 1 month and I had a really fantastic time here! Genine, Rob and Mack really treated me like one of the family. I had such a good time here. Rob was a good host and I got to experience the real Aussie outback life. The property itself is huge and there are so many stunning places. The work had lots of variety and was not too hard. Thank you so much for the oppurtunity and so sorry that I could not meet all of you!

I spent 8 weeks here and I got really good Australian outback experience! I wanted to develop my horsemanship skills and also work with the cows and I got what I wanted!

… read more the beautiful waterfalls were amazing experiences! I also enjoyed mustering cattle with horses and riding young horses.
If you are horse person you can learn much about natural horsemanships and develop your riding skills. Life here is sometimes busy and full of work and mobile phones don't work, but it's worth it. I came here with the goal to learn more about horses and improve my riding skills. Soon it turns out, that to go at this place was the right decision!
Robert and Genine have a big property, big house and a couple of animals, means: There is a lot of work to do! So I helped Genine with the household, what gave her a free moment to spend her time
… read more with teaching, watching and correcting me, while I could brake one of her youngster in. She also let me work with two of her untouched horses. I’m very thankful for her trust.
For me it turns out of one of my best experience ever. It looks like also a life changing one. Genine and Robert are both great horseman/woman with a lot of knowledge and experience. They may have a different style, with makes the whole experience even more interesting. Both needed to be very patient with me, because I started question them about horses before their first coffee and ended short before we went to bed. And every answer they gave me had rhyme and reason.
I can recommend this place for all those people who are not shying hard work and who want to learn a lot about horses and/or mustering.
