Great Aussie experience.
Thank you, Paul, for having me, it was an amazing time.
I fully recommend Paul as a host. The work we had with my flatmate was sanding and painting the doors. We worked 4 hours per day, giving us a lot of time to explore the island. Paul is the aussiest person I've ever met. He can tell you about Aussie life better than
… read more anyone. He is also very kind, helpful, and has a hilarious sense of humor (almost like me ;)).
It felt like home far away from home thanks to him.

I stayed with Paul for one week and I had the best time!
I worked in the mornings (on weekdays) and had my afternoons off to explore this beautiful island. The local bus is very good and reliable. My work consisted of helping him repairing some chairs, which didn‘t really feel like a chore but was so much fun!

… read more to enjoy many delicious meals cooked by him. His humour is great, we could joke around but also have some great conversations about anything you can think of. He loved sharing his knowledge about the island, wildlife and many other topics with me, which I really appreciated! He also showed me around the island on his motorbike and on his boat and it was amazing!
I got to meet many of his lovely friends and neighbours and had great fun with them too.
If you get the chance to stay with Paul, don‘t miss out on it, I‘d love to go back there!

My stay with Paul was nothing but fun! He welcomed my partner and I into his home and made us feel exceptionally comfortable. He provided a variety of hearty meals, and was never shy to let us grab seconds. He was very understanding when it came to getting work done, and let us split our hours up in the day so we didn’t have to work through the
… read more heat of the sun. He brought us on his boat, and we got to experience crabbing on the ocean, which is something I’ve never done before… it was so much fun.
In the evenings we were able to relax and have some independent time, while also having the opportunity to lounge and watch movies! What a nice finish to the day.
