Cecilia stayed with us for almost two weeks, to help with general housework and gardening, and to entertain the kids during school holidays. We were comfortable with Cecilia right from the start as she is a great communicator, she respected our house rules, she is cheerful, and was happy to tackle any menial task we gave her. The kids loved her
… read more and gave her a number of nicknames - thankfully Cecilia has a terrific sense of humour! We had some wonderful conversations about Italy and Berlin, and she showed a genuine interest in our lives in Tasmania. We loved having Cecilia stay with us and would welcome her back any time!

… read more exactly when I’d be spending time with the kids—playing board games or Lego or just having fun on the trampoline—or doing some light housework and gardening. They included me in all their activities, from bushwalking up Mount Wellington to exploring museums and even a magical night at the beach watching the aurora. I also loved hearing all their stories and tips about Tasmania, Australia (and Japan!)—I truly felt like a local by the time I left! I’d absolutely recommend staying with the Mann family to anyone visiting Hobart. Thank you so much for an unforgettable two weeks!

I stayed with Vanessa, Rob, Angus, Bethany and Zali for a week when I first arrived on Tasmania. My task was to look after the kids during the school holidays, while Vanessa and Rob were at work. We went to the park every day where Bethany would never get tired of running around and Angus would fly his drone while listening to audiobooks. Both

I felt welcome the minute I arrived and it was so easy to be part of the family life. Vanessa and Rob are very laid back, have a strong positive energy and living with them felt so simple and comfortable.
I've learned a lot during my one-week stay, about Australia in general, Tasmania in particular and a lot about Japan - thanks for introducing me to Sushi and putting a new country on my bucket list!
The house is super clean and very modern and I had my own room. It's in a suburb of Hobart and there's a bus to the city centre. Since the house is located on top of a hill, you can be sure of getting your free workout 😁 It's a very quiet area, with Wallabys in the front garden and the bush right behind the house. The family took me for little trips on the weekend and tried to show me around as much as possible during my short stay which was great!
I had a lovely time here and can definitely recommend and would stay again with this down-to-earth Aussie family🥰

Holly stayed with us for one week and we really enjoyed having her - especially the kids! Holly is great with children. She finished the tasks we gave her, and was very conscientious and respectful around the house. We would recommend Holly for any family home.

My family thoroughly enjoying having Miriam stay and work with us. She worked magic in our vegetable garden and managed to remove a considerable amount of weeds from our garden paths. Miriam is polite, helpful around the home, and great with kids. We would happily recommend her!
