  We are a warm and welcoming lesbian couple living in Nicosia, Cyprus, with our two beloved dogs and a passion for sweet treats and community connection.
  
  Our home is located next to the house where we live full-time, and our main project is a mobile ice cream truck that serves both soft ice cream and scoop ice cream to the local neighborhoods. We run routes around the city and occasionally participate in events when booked. It’s a fun and colorful business — just like us!

  Ajuda

  Summer is our busiest time of year. Our mobile ice cream truck runs daily routes from 2 PM until midnight, which means our days are long, fun, and often exhausting. While we love the energy of the ice cream season, it also means our home and dogs don’t get the attention they deserve — and that’s where we’d love your help.
  
  🐶 Support at Home:
  Our two dogs are an important part of our family, and during summer they spend a lot of time alone while we’re working. Your help will make a huge difference in their lives. Daily walks, feeding, playtime, and just some company will keep them happy and calm.
  
  We also appreciate support with:
  General housework (tidying, organizing, cleaning)
  
  Light gardening (especially in spring or early autumn — it’s too hot in summer!)
  
  Keeping our living spaces functional and peaceful
  
  We’re happy to share tasks when we’re home and love exchanging tips, stories, and skills. You’ll be living in a relaxed, LGBTQIA+ household that values respect, trust, and mutual support.

  Cypriot dialect is a very interesting dialect of Greek language. 99% of Cypriots are fluent in English so communication will not be a problem during everyday life

  Accommodation & Meals
  Workawayers will have their own private room in the same house where we live. The room is cozy, clean, and fully equipped to host one or two people comfortably. Most of the time, you’ll have the room entirely to yourself, but during the busy summer months, there might be a short period of room sharing with the next Workawayer. If that happens, we’ll always let you know ahead of time.
  
  You’ll have access to:
  🧑‍🍳 A shared kitchen with everything you need
  🛁 Bathroom and laundry facilities
  🧼 Fresh bedding, towels, and home essentials
  
  We love to cook and share meals together when time allows — and we also hope to taste some of your cooking skills! You’ll be free to cook for yourself whenever you like, but if you enjoy cooking for others or sharing your food culture, we’re definitely up for it.
  
  Our house is warm and welcoming, and we’re often surrounded by friends and family. In true Cypriot spirit, our door is always open — literally! We even leave the keys in the door so loved ones can drop by when they’re nearby. It’s a lively, loving space, and we hope you’ll feel like part of the extended family while you're here.

  We live in a relaxed, respectful, and welcoming home. Here’s a bit about how things work:
  🐶 Our two dogs are friendly and full of personality — we hope you’ll enjoy having them around!
  🏳️‍🌈 We’re a queer (lesbian) couple, and we hold space for openness, kindness, and inclusivity. We welcome people of all backgrounds and identities.
  🧹 We like to keep our space clean and tidy and appreciate the same from our guests in shared areas.
  🚬 We’re okay with smoking IQOS or vapes indoors, but if you smoke regular cigarettes, we kindly ask that you do so in the garden.
  🧘‍♀️ Our home is calm and cozy — after long workdays, we tend to wind down quietly.
  👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We often have friends and family visiting — Cypriot culture is very open and welcoming. People drop by, sometimes with just a knock or by letting themselves in — yes, we often leave the keys in the door!
  
  You'll have your own space and independence, but also be part of a home that’s warm, a little spontaneous, and full of heart.
