  During your time traveling upon our sacred planet, we welcome you to the temple of the inner child! We are grateful that WorkAway has become an entry point for you to hear about us! Please *read more below* to consider the open community positions, such as the Childhood Educator position (working with daughter Sophia on her online-schooling program and first year of education) in exchange for a tattoo apprenticeship with Mystic Eve. Overall, our value system is based on feeling into life, daily, for how we may work and embrace spirituality together at this precious and unique temple space in the rainforest everyday of your stay.
  
  About us: We focus on art daily and work together to help each other grow spiritually and create a family. We hold the space for you to work on your own practice, including yoga, meditation, ceremony, and others. We are working together and helping each other keep an environment that takes care of our earthly bodies, as well as caring for Sophia. We also share ideas (teach) and help local kids and anyone interested, in the area, we are an independent learning center. We aim to study and discuss ideas from across the broad, amongst creatives and intellectuals within the spacetime continuum. For This Reason, We Aim to Keep the Space in Harmony, for Inner Work and Contemplative Studies.
  
  Notice: For the Childhood Educator position, we have a *Tattoo Apprenticeship Program* for those interested in learning the Art of Tattoo. (Tattoo prices are very affordable, and there is usually students that need practice skin! This is an excellent time to build your tattooing career. You are able to explore tattooing yourself with stick and poke or using a traditional machine.)
  
  Another notice: *House-sitters* are needed through the year, as the residents of the temple space are not Costa Rican citizens and need to do leave the country every 90-days. If you are interested in house-sitting the temple space, please reach out about this notice specifically, so that we can plan well ahead of time.

  We are seek out 6 key positions to fill at our temple:
  1.
  *Childhood Educator* (teach and tutor 7-year-old Sophie with her online-schooling, which consists of a globally organized educational platform on an iPad)
  2.
  *Sustainability Manager* (soil guru and permaculture designer; be active in the community at large and network with local farmers)
  3.
  *Travel Agent* (support other members at the temple by administrating travel information and staying in correspondence with travelers planning to stay)
  4.
  *Telecommunications Manager* (contribute to media production projects, such as podcasts and motion pictures for the Patreon account)
  5.
  *Event Planner* (organize gatherings for temple group, such as an healing arts workshop or a poetry forum during an open-mic night)
  6.
  *Guidance Counselor* (social-emotional health skill-building for current temple group and hold space for the growth capacity of each individual at the temple)

  Acknowledgement of our spiritual practice:
  
  We hold this space for mystics, artists, and people that dance to the beat of their own drum. Overall, this place is for all genders, orientations, creatures and aliens.
  
  Every morning, we aim to practice a morning ritual with everybody who is currently staying in the temple, which consist of Synergy circles and vocal toning. The goal: reach and require for creative individuals to channel and remember divine union—within a space of communion.
  
  *Karma yoga - the action we do to appreciate from and do for the temple community, maintenance within daily life including, but are not limited to, keeping the house tidy and clean (and simply being appreciative through means of purifying the sacred space of a temple).
  *Synergy circles - coming together to share personal practices and and unique ideas, paired with any emotions we feel like presenting with the temple community.
  *Vocal toning - vibration work that rapidly contributes to healing the body, especially by shifting energetic blockages, to eventually clear and transform the entire being.
  
  
  -- New Housing Update --
  We have recently funded an area that is attached to the larger temple building; the open sheltered area is roofed with metal sheets, via a typical Costa Rican-styled roofing, over a wooden floor w/ wood from trees in the forest a few feet away. (The current temple members are not openly sharing sleep space in the house, as we have done in the past.) With this in mind, we currently have open tent space available, though there is limited space and you may choose to stay for a week or so, depending on how projects and plans pan out.
  
  We are always seeking people who want to put in effort into developing the community space, whether it involves new construction projects and house repairs or feeling out the fengshui of the space and aesthetically designing the place, in your own creative and artistic way.
  
  The house that shelters the temple space is structured to be rustic, minimalistic and open to the elements of the rainforest. The temple space is filled with murals (with the vibe and creative feel of an art studio) as we plan to have art on every available surface, for creative projects to be up and running—on the daily.
  
  The art studio consists of a large open room for physical activity like dancing and stretching, which opens up to desk space for tattooing, writing, or other creative work. Overall, our focus is tattoo work, art, music, creating, healing and magic.

  Our arts center is designed to give seekers the space to truly work on their own spiritual growth, and gain artistic inspiration from within and from the amazing paradise that surrounds us! Our goal is for everyone to learn more about living simply and responsibly, as well as having the ability to explore individual, artistic creativity, and personal spirituality. The guidance is available to be helped with developing your own practices, including information on how to create your own yoga and meditations, so that you can tap into the cosmic library, and take this with you wherever you go. You will have other like minded-people to share ideas, and pull from their unique experiences. Plus you will have the personal space to quiet the mind and work within yourself.

  We are open to receive people who have a strong daily practice in place, people who are already on the path of changing their lives to support the planet, heal themselves, and want to share their style of art. We are serious about health and explore any known practice that can help us strengthen our vibrations and help us get closer to the divine. We spend a few hours on house work and the rest of the time is for meditations, yoga, art, internal work, deep conversation, and group practices. You are asked to spread your wings as far as you can... you are encouraged to be a leader and make your own project and program.

  Acomodação

  We have tents to loan and tent space available. At this time, we are making due with very simple kitchen amenities, but the food created has been as good as if it were in a five star restaurant. All food is purchased together and meals are discussed and planed together each day. We are able to accommodate all dietary needs and requirements.
  
  We practice conscious eating. We believe that the body is deeply connected to both the mind and the spirit and reflect this belief in our everyday diet. We eat a mostly plant based diet rich in alkaline foods. We see cooking as an art and if called to do so anyone can create a unique meal when planned for.

  This is between Ostional and Nosara. There is a river nearby, as well as mountains and beaches. We have neighbors, and are not secluded from the local community. Local children show up occasionally, they are a part of the community and we learn and share with them with love and compassion.
  Ostional is the magical beach that is a turtle nesting ground. It has a few restaurants with WIFI available and a few small grocery stores; and Nosara which is a hotspot for spiritual seekers and tourism, a lot is happening in this area, and also has amazing beaches. We have a bicycle available for use (we intend to get more in the future) For the healthy, in shape person, it is totally doable to ride a bike into Ostional, Nosara or Guiones. If you purchase a bike here, we can either buy it when you leave or you can trade it for a tattoo.
  I am looking for travelers who are interested in going with-in themselves to focus on art, community, and introspection. I ask that each person be self-motivated and pro-active. This is not really a place for action seekers. We are holding the space for artists, writers , and seekers who need tranquility to do so; please keep that in mind, as well as having patience and understanding for a 6 year old who is figuring out how to be a human. 🙏
