… read more comfortable and that I had everything I needed and more. She even handled my vegan diet super thoughtfully, which I'm more than grateful for.
The work was a mix of housework, gardening and caring for Disco, the cutest and most affectionate dog I've ever met (I absolutely fell in love with him and really miss our cuddle sessions and walks though the beautiful parks and neighborhood). But whatever tasks I did, Sophie always made sure I had plenty of time to explore Vancouver which has been so much fun! She also shared her knowledge about the city and the beautiful nature surrounding it with me, was always happy to show me the best routes and hikes and we even went hiking together with her two adult kids, which was just beautiful.
So, again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this possible for me, and for all the amazing memories I will carry in my heart from now on - like the talks we had in the kitchen, countless kisses from Didi, the Harry Potter movie nights, a wonderful mother's day, and being able to experience this beautiful place on earth by your side.

Tini was with us for almost a month. She settled quickly into the routine and bonded with Disco our dog almost instantly. Tini is a great cook and baked some yummy brownies for us. She worked diligently and did a great job cleaning and gardening. Tini is a very kind and compassionate person who has a natural affinity towards animals. Safe travels

This family was so lovely, kind, and generous. I loved staying here! I felt comfortable and valued and it was a joy to look after Disco who was the sweetest dog!

Louise lived with my daughter in April whilst my husband and I were on a road trip. She was such a great help to my daughter who was working full time and unable to walk Disco every day. Louise was a real go getter and bonded quickly with Disco as well as took the initiative in the house. We are very grateful to her!

I spent about 3 weeks in march at the awesome place of Sophie and Ant. During my time my main focus was on walking Disco which I wouldn't even consider work as it was pure fun. It never got boring with Disco and it wont take long until he sees you as family and gives you a lot of kisses. There are a lot of beautiful walks in the area like going to
… read more the dog beach and watching Disco play with many other dogs or driving 10 minutes with the car to Whyte Lake which is a beautiful hike through the forest.
My other tasks were most of the time to either clean or cook. As somebody who just got into cooking this was quite an experience but with Sophie and Ant being around they were always there to answer my questions.
For your free time, if you don't know the area Sophie and Ant can always give you some really good tips on some beautiful places. They always try to include you if possible so you enjoy your time there. My experience with them was simply awesome - they have an active lifestyle and also really want you to explore the area, meet people and make the best out of your time with them.

Dustin was wonderful to have come live with us in March 2025. He was very quiet, respectful and kind. Our dog really loved him and bonded very quickly. It was such an lovely and welcoming stay with Sophie and Ant. A big plus is the cutest dog Disco, but not only he made the stay fabulous. Both (or all three) of them are friendly, communicative and will make you feel comfortable. It was entertaining and you will get your daily steps together, after having a long walk with Disco.

… read more time to show me around at Cypres, Lynn Valley, Lighthouse park and mainly West Vancouver. If you ask Ant he will make for you a great coffee, he is the specialist for the machine and milk foam. You can join him in the living room for a movie or series in the evening, the sound will be amazing. Both could give some advices of „what is going on in Van“. Sophie perfected a great chocolate-mug-treat (really yummy) and I enjoyed to prepare the different variations of the food for our dinner. There will always be the opportunity to exchange story’s and get some tips.
It was the best time in January/February to stay with you guys, a big THANK YOU for including me in your activities, like the snow hiking.
I really appreciated my stay and would highly recommend this host to everyone, who wants to have the nature around the corner and don’t just want to sit inside.

Linnea was the perfect house guest and wonderful with our dog. She looked after him for 3 weeks whilst we were travelling and was extremely responsible. I came home to find the dog thriving, all of my house plants well cared for, and a spotlessly clean home. It was wonderful! Thanks so much Linnea!

Disco is the cutest and affectionate dog. He definitely was the best adventure buddy :) Long walks to the beach and hikes were his favourite.
