  I have moved to this village called Diósjenő two years ago from Budapest where I was living for 20 years. This is my grandparents house, they lived here and also my great grandparents lived here. Most part of the house has made of clay in a traditional way in the years around 1930. There is quite a big garden (1500 m2) and some side buildings, barns, pigsty, although no more animals live here beside cats. It is located in a small village, North of Hungary next to the biggest forrest in the country. The village is right next to a mountain with one of the highest peaks of Hungary (936 m), also there is a nice fishing lake. I would like to make up the place to feel more homey. I need some help with this and I'm happy to share and receive ideas. I also need company for sitting around the fire in the evenings, cooking and having fun together.

  Language practice, cultural exchange, cooking exchange, showing around, introducing my friends and family in different cities, practicing clay work, swimming in the lake, hiking, sitting around the fire, having fun.
  
  Main goal with workawayers is to have company around the house for the summer as I live alone, I would like to be more social and enjoy the company of travellers, have the feeling of having a community. I travel a lot myself and used to do volunteering what I enjoyed a lot.

  You can help me around the garden and in the house as well. I would like to create a garden with some vegetable, herbs and flowers. Also one of my goals for this spring to have an outside shower and toilet to be able to be even more close to the nature all the time.

  Acomodação

  I can offer a private room in the house, but tent is also available, I offer bedding, towel, there is hot shower and toilet in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a gas stove and oven, I usually prepare vegetarian food.

  Easy access: there are trains and buses to the village from Budapest, the capital. There are grocery stores, DIY stores, restaurants, pubs and also events in the village. Hiking routes, peaks, lookout towers and a fishing lake is in walking distance. There is an other lake in the nearby village (Bank) for swimming and sunbathing. I have two bikes.
