Descrição
We have a large kiwi woolshed we have turned into an amazing funky home and apartment. It is set on a beautiful farm property with forests and a creek and many animals.
We are close to the Waitaki river and the lakes for swims and fishing over summer.
We enjoy wholesome yummy food and enjoy cooking often with organic produce from the garden.
We run accomodation too at the Woolshed. There is a Woodfired hot tub.
Looking to host a motivated helper to give us a hand weeding the garden after spring growth!

We collect a number of musical instruments to play. Baby grand piano, guitars, drums and so many more.
We enjoy hearing where people are from and share a cultural exchange, learning about you and your culture.
We make yummy food.
You could learn basic drumming, ukulele, bass guitar playing, longboard skateboarding. We live at the bottom of a club ski field and locals often go up on the weekend over winter.
I'm interested in herbal medicine from the plants on the land and enjoy harvesting and making tinctures, balms & preserving fruit.

Ajuda
We have various projects on the farm. Some wood work, gardening, forestry, firewood collecting. Some weeding mainly at the moment. Compost making. Some help feeding the animals n cleaning paddocks. Feeding compost to the fruit trees.
We prefer motivated helpers with some experience in helping out with gardening or outdoor physical work. Also a good level of English is great.

We have a huge unique kiwi house. We turned a woolshed into a house.

There are some great trips around the area. Hikes and mountain climbs for the adventurous. The river and lakes are so beautiful and well worth exploring as are the elephant rocks. It would be good if you had your own car or we travel to Oamaru so could pick you up on certain days.

We spent a week at Bianca's in 2020 and had a wonderful time! Her house is amazing, super cool decorated! Our room was very comfortable, the meals absolutely delicious, and the work (mostly in the garden or horse paddock) was fun and not too hard. Thank you for a wonderful stay and the opportunity to ride DJ Mango!

We loved having Kati and Meeri stay for a week on our farm. Their positive can do attitude was, appreciated as they helped with everything from helping fix our washing machine, herding sheep, to nurturing future small fruit trees and adoring/socialising the animals.

It was, really fun to have Leah come help us out on the farm. Her fun inquisitive character was nice to have around. She helped tackle some weeds and helped process some trees in the forest.

It was such a treat to have Auriane help us out on the farm. Her love of animals and care was so great and we entrusted her to housesit for us in our air bnb. She had great, experience with cows so was able to help us feed them.

We enjoyed having Gabriel here very much. He has left his mark on our landscape with his wonderful work. He landscaped in some big paver steps that we use every day and it is a lovely reminder of his great work. He was so lovely with all the animals. We would love to welcome him back sometime. I helped in the farm doing some construction, feeding animals, gardening, etc, etc... it was a really good time with Bianca and Andrew in a magic place!!
