Glen and Jo stayed with us for a week and I can’t recommend them highly enough! Not only did they take care of all of our animals (horses, dogs and chickens) while we were away, but we were very relaxed knowing that there were two safe pairs of hands looking after everything in our absence. We returned home to a delicious homemade pie, a spotless

We pet sat for Andy and Beki for a week while they took a well deserved family holiday.
They welcomed us into their charming home in the country with such warmth. We immediately felt at home there. We enjoyed the lovely dinner Beki made and had a very relaxed evening with them and their daughter prior to them leaving the next morning.

… read more Andy are very good communicators both verbally and via WhatsApp. We never had to ask any questions. They also have a very detailed information pack for their air bnb which they left for us (anything from info about the house all the way to suggestions of what to do in the area).
Their 4 dogs are the most obedient dogs we ever had the pleasure of taking care of, which made our stay easy and enjoyable.
Taking care of the 2 horses and 2 chickens was also very easy. Beki took care in explaining everything about the animals and Andy showed us everything we needed to know about the house and equipment.
Their home is within a short drive to some of the most beautiful villages in the area where you can wonder around feeling like you are in a totally different world. The locals we met are very friendly. It is indeed a charming countryside.
We would be very happy to come back and help with anything required if we are back in the area.

We stayed with Beky and Andy for three weeks in August and it was our first experience with Workaway. We were very lucky to meet these wonderful family. During the day we fed the animals and took care of them and we did very simple house chores. We met also Tilly and Johanna, all of them were always really warm toward us and we had a lot of fun.

… read more enjoy having dinner together and we have to say that Andy is a very good story teller, we loved listening to each of their stories.
We accompany them on a camp to sell dinners, this was in the camp where Tilly works and it was the first time they sold their pizzas and we have to say that it was a success!
The dogs were very friendly and well behaved, and they like to be around people, so they followed us everywhere. We walked the dogs in the morning and then we feed all the animals: dogs, horses, chickens and koi fishes. We helped with some painting projects and with the garden, and we had lots of free. The room they shared with us was at the back of the house with its own bathroom, so we had privacy when needed.

We loved all the animals, especially Ned Lasso ;) I miss having the chickens follow me about in the garden, walking the dogs, and feeding the horses. Our fab hosts took us out exploring the Dordogne - to markets, view-points and hill-top villages (thank you!). We enjoyed our staying very very much, they were always available for everything we needed and the work we have done most of the times was really enjoyable and we did it with no pressure. We have learned lots of things, in particular especially about dordogne and its interesting stories and we have improved a lot our English too. It was an amazing experience and we think that it couldn’t have gone any better, we hope Beki, Andy and Tilly enjoyed our staying at least a half as much we enjoyed it. We are looking forward to come back when we will have time, if there will be the possibility.
