  My wife and I are operating a small cow calf operation along with a few horses. We are expanding and building on a continual basis. We are developing land in the Robson Valley increasing our herd. We live 10 minutes from amMt. Robson Provincial Park, and we live 1 hour from Jasper National Park. We live in a cabin with a view of a front row seat to Mica Mountain. Valemount hosts a variety of activities with some of the best mountain bike trails in western Canada. Wildlife here is abundant with deer, moose, bears, and cougars. We keep some of our cattle on a range lease on Mica Mountain, we are continually patrolling the mountain checking cattle.

  See the beautiful mountains of British Columbia, experience life on a Ranch with modern day pioneers, experience living close to a national park, working on a starting cow calving operation, and much more. We require assistance with calving and will train anyone about calving. Our calving season starts in April and carries on through till September, however there is not a lot of calving during the summer months. Checking cattle regularly at home ranch as well as on Mica Mountain.

  Ajuda

  We require help with livestock care, checking livestock on mountain side, land cleanup, fencing, painting, land clearing, and general chores. Carpentry skills to build calf shelters, saddle shed, fencing.
  Accommodation will be a 30 foot holiday trailer until the original old farm house is finished.
