I am a single mum, living in in Normandy with my son aged 16. I am a teacher for children with special needs. The garden (5000 m2) feeds my two goats, and we also have a dog. I began being a Host in 2023 because my health has been very bad after a sars-cov 2 infection in January 2020 wich left me in a very pooor health until 2025. At the time I needed help in the garden, as well as having some walks with our dog.
Now i'm getting better and better and I've just moved. I still want to host because i enjoy it and because i now need help to develop this new place : may it be in the garden or for some painting in the house.
I like chatting about many different topics and especially animals, since i have always had several ones such as cats, horses and dogs. I like cooking too, and we have gluten free and milk free meals as much as possible. Still, I like good food and I have some delicious cakes and meals recipies ! I'm ok with a vegetarian workawayer, and would enjoy learning some veggie receipies!
There is a room for you if you feel like sharing my everyday life for some time, during the school holidays. That place is made for you if you like living in the country side, having nice walks and if, like me, you need some peace and feel like spending some times chatting, meeting people !
I have a small vegetable garden.
J'habite en Normandie avec mon fils de 16 ans. Je travaille en tant qu'enseignante auprès d'enfants qui ont des troubles du comportement et de l'apprentissage. Notre maison possède un jardin de 5000 m2. Nous avons un chien et deux chèvres qui participent à l'entretien du terrain ! J'ai commencé à accueillir des workawayers en 2023, après une infection au Covid qui a dégradé très fortement mon état de santé, et ce jusqu'en 2025. Durant cette période, j'ai eu besoin d'aide dans le jardin et pour des balades avec notre chien.
Aujourd'hui, je vais de mieux en mieux et je viens de déménager. Je veux continuer à accueillir des workawayers car j'ai beaucoup de plaisir à le faire et parce que j'ai besoin d'aide pour developper ce nouvel endroit : que ce soit pour le jardin ou pour aider à la peinture dans la maison.
J'aime échanger sur de nombreux sujets différents et plus particulièrement les animaux puisque j'ai toujours eu des animaux dans ma vie (chevaux, chats, chiens). J'aime également cuisiner. Je mange au maximum des produits sains, sans gluten et sans laitages. Pour autant, j'aime la bonne nourriture et j'aime cuisiner le sucré et le salé ! Je suis ok pour accueillir quelqu'un qui serait végétarien et serais ravie d'apprendre des recettes veggies!
Je dispose d'une chambre pour vous si vous vous sentez de partager mon quotidien pour quelques temps, sur les périodes de vacances scolaires. Ce projet est pour vous si vous aimez la campagne, les jolies balades et si vous aspirez au calme et à des temps d'échanges, et les rencontres !

I can speak English and a bit of Spanish. As a teacher, I am used to learning people, so i don't mind if you are beginning speaking French. I can give you some advice so as to the good places to visit all around. I will be very glad to come with you if you wish.
The house is next to Pont-Audemer (12km) and Bernay (20km), 40 mn from Honfleur, 45mn from Deauville. There are nice walks all around. I like speaking and learning things !
I practise Qi Gong once a week, and I 'd enjoy sharing that pratice with you if you wish !

At the moment, I need help to trim the shrubs, and to clean de flower beds, maintaining the garden and some painting.
