Emily was an amazing help in our busy household, she was quick to pickup app the little tasks we needed help with from gardening and forestry work to helping out around the house. She organised our kitchen draws ❤️ and helped keep the house clean and tidy. We'd happily recommend Emily as a workaway to any family!

I loved getting to spend 3 weeks with Kyla and Gareth's family! Wonderful people, beautiful environment, and the work is very fair (4 hours/day, 6 days/week). The work required often changes based on what projects need tending to, while taking into account what you feel comfortable doing. They are both also more than happy to help you learn

I really did love my time here and I highly recommend it for someone comfortable being around children and participating in family life. On a final note, my peak highlights were Gareth's homemade sourdough bread, psychology talks with Kyla, swimming in the pool, and platypus hunting.

Louise and her partner Sebastien stayed with us for 2 weeks and we're a huge help around the property. Everything from helping clear out the garage and get us organised to cooking amazing food. They were super self sufficient and easy to spend time with and we'd highly recommend both of them as workaways guests in any home 😊
Rowan and Tabea spent a little over a week with us in October 2024 and were a fantastic addition to our little family during their stay.
They were a huge help with all manner of jobs around the house and in the garden, capable of independently managing all sorts of jobs with nothing more than a quick chat to point them in the right direction!
… read more They also cooked some delicious meals and both struck up a great relationship with our young girls as they generally helped us keep the house running. Rowan and Tabea are great company too, with plenty of interesting stories to share. Wishing them all the best and would recommend them to any host!
We reached out to Gareth and Kyla last minute and they were super accommodating.
We were welcomed into their spectacular home by their two beautiful daughters and excited doggo. (Who also is very chill until about 3 PM and then loves a runaround)

They had a very reasonable work schedule for us that suited us and we enjoyed helping them do some landscaping and pulling up some non-native weeds in their backdoor rainforest.

Emily and Per were great to host and were a huge help around the house and broader property. From helping with cattle fencing to brush cutting Lantana, there was nothing they weren't keen to get stuck into! They would no doubt make a great addition to any household!
Petra and Mao were absolutely fantastic guests and fitted in easily with our family. They were a huge help with various jobs aren't the property and very keen learn more skills along the way. They are also great cooks and we shared plenty of fun conversations over lovely meals 😊 10/10 would recommend these guys!

What an incredible place! I stayed for 2 weeks with this lovely family and I totally enjoyed it! I felt absolutely comfortable, safe and like a part of the family. I helped outside in the rainforest and around the house, inside with cleaning , cooking and looked after the kids and the dog.

What a lovely young family! I had a great ,very comfortable time. The property is very lushious and big. You will see some of it on your walks with the most lovable doggo:) .They eat simple, very yummy meals so you wont go hungry. There is alot of forest/garden maintenance to do so you will work outside between the palm trees and flowing creeks.

I stayed for 1.5 weeks at Kyla & Gareth and had such a nice time. They really involved me in the family and took good care of me. I helped picking rocks and weeding in the yard and with the daily things in the house like preparing meals and cleaning.
