  Hallo! I am a 37-year -old free-lance project manager (working with European and local projects on education, social inclusion, empowerment...). I live in Sicily, between Palermo and Caltanissetta, my home town. I am passionate traveler and I love to live in an international environment. That's why I host many international friends in Sicily and that's also why I thought about workaway for my project. I have a neglected garden in my place in Caltanissetta, in the center of Sicily and I am determined to work on it! But as I am alone, I would love to have some help, and if that can with an international person, even better! I am member of some hosting organizations and I have met several workeweyers who told me enthusiastically about their experience. So, I would love to have some help in this way, for a week or two. I will provide accommodation and food, good conversation and company, flexible hours of work and free week ends, where (up to the person) we could spend together in Palermo (the Capital of Sicily) or around Sicily. I don't require a heavy commitment: I mean, I think that max 4/5 hours per day are ok. What I am looking for is help in gardening, cleaning the garden, hoeing, plant some new plants, taking care of the existing ones, watering, create some flowerbeds, clearing out an old storehouse...

  I am a passionate traveler myslef, so I can understand what a foreigner traveller may expect or may be willing to experience. What I can provide, besides from my open and traveller-friendly attitude, is sharing my social life with the guest, making him/her participate to dinners, drinks and tasts of local life. I am availabe for day trips during the week ends (up to the person) and always ready to provide any help for logistics or tourist tips...
  Caltanissetta is a 70.000 inhabitants city in the center of Sicily. The closest beach cost is 45 min by car, in the south shores. Close to Caltanissetta is the well-known "Villa del Casale" a Roman villa covered with precious mosaics. Caltanissetta is very well linked to Palermo and Catania by a train running several times per day.

  Hallo! I am looking for some help in putting order in my messy garden: I have a house with about 500 square meters of land, even tough I will focus only on some strips of land in front of the house (so like 50ms +/-). Ideally, the workawayers will help me in gardening, cleaning the garden, hoeing, plant some new plants, taking care of the existing ones, watering, create some flowerbeds, clearing out an old storehouse and similar.

  In Caltanissetta I have a big house (whose garden is the object of this adv) a couple of kms away from the city of Caltanissetta and I can provide with a n independent flat for the guest, with a bedroom with double bad, and independent kitchen and bathroom.

  The place is in a quite neighborhood far about 2/ 3 kms from the main city (Caltanissetta). Walking there from the city can be a bit hard (above all in the night as the road is not illuminated) and therefore a bike could be ideal. I have a car and I can drive the helper upon arrival and for some daily needs ( I myself go to the center daily). I DON'T have Internet at home (as it's not my main place I did bother to have a router). Caltanissetta is in the center of Sicily and it's in a perfect location to go basically everywhere around the Island. In 50 minutes you ca reach the southern beaches and the center itslef is beautiful, full of hidden corners, beautiful hills and historical sites (like the Roman Villa in Piazza Armerina) . I can bring the helper with me to Palermo on the week end if he/she wishes to, or we can do some activity together during the week end...
