My experience with Inger and Vinjer was truly unforgettable.
During my month on their farm, I learned to milk goats, dry grass, feed animals. I was cooking, painting, and sanding wood. It’s a real, hardworking farm where everything is done with dedication and love.
From the very beginning, I felt trusted and welcomed. They even gave me the
… read more responsibility to care for the farm while they were on holiday—an experience I’ll never forget.
We shared more than just work: we went to art exhibitions and performances, enjoyed the popular midsummer bonfire in Ålesund , and had deep and meaningful conversations about life and philosophy. I also had the chance to meet their friends and explore the beautiful surroundings with morning walks and hikes.
Vinjer is an amazing teenager—independent, skilled, and super cool. Inger is one of the strongest and most inspiring women I’ve met. She works incredibly hard and truly deserves good, committed help.
Even if I couldn't offer everything they might have needed, I gave my best and felt grateful to contribute in any way I could. I hope every future volunteer brings them the support and joy they both deserve.
Thank you for everything. I’ll always carry this experience in my heart, and I hope we meet again one day. 💛

David spent 3 weeks with us and we all learned a lot from this experience in a good way. David worked consistently and had no problems working on his own. He was skilled in mechanics and helped us out with tasks that we have been postponing for very long. He worked physically hard when that was needed and he a loved to work with wood.
… read more Unfortunately we didnt have that much wood work to offer him in that period but he handled that in a great way, was dynamic and adapted easily to changes.
We experienced David as a sensitive and fair man. He wanted to have meaningful work, feel appreciated and he was honest about it.
We highly recommend David to other hosts and wish him the very best of luck

I spent 3 weeks with Igner Per an Vignar and they are a lovely family. per is a man with hundreds of adventures behind him and from which you can learn many things. Inger is the woman with more energy than I have known and with whom you can talk about any topic. vignar is a child awake lovely and cute. The place has some good nearby routes to hike

Their place is located in a fantastic area, surrounded by beautiful mountains and forest where you can go cross-country skiing during winter time. The work was never boring and I learned a lot
… read more during my stay. The food is absolutely delicious and the house so nice and cozy :) I am so grateful for all the new experiences I made there. Being able to train with the dogs was just incredible! (I will forever remember my last trip on the sledge under the bright stars!)

My time in norway with Inger, Per and Vinjar was more than great! I felt very comfortable around them, their friends and around the animals for sure:)
