Ciao I am Victoria, living in beautiful and picturesque Zuid Limburg in the south of The Netherlands, but soon will be relocating back to the beautiful twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago.This new project will start in January 2025.
I iam nterested in cultural exchange and possibly learning French. I am a mother and grand mother who has also experienced being a 'Work Awayer'. I have hosted workawayers from Taiwan,Brazil, Argentina and Italy and learnt quite a bi about their culter and customs.. I am very family oriented and love nature, gardening, cooking, meeting new people etc. In Trinidad I will be interested in hosting people who are a bit skilled with renovations, painting and repurposing furniture etc. I am all about upcycling when possible. In exchange you will have free time to enjoy the beaches and delicious foods, arts and cultureof this beautiful Caribbean island. I will also need help with gardening and making compost. Also a bit of help with elderly care for my aunt.
Very interested in meeting people into yoga, meditation, knowledgeable about herbs and their medicinal properties,or can teach me to play my guitar, taking walks etc.

I speak Italian fairly well; I can understand some Dutch and French but not well enough to respond in those languages

I am very much an advocate for alternative/natural medicines and would eventually like to have a garden full of medicinal herbs where ever I settle down. I would love to learn from others that are experienced and can identify medcinal flowers, etc on walks

I love languages and still speak Italian quite well. I believe leaning a new language makes you quite diverse and it's always nice to be able to commuicate in the mothe tongue of a country you may visit.
Acomodação
Private bedroom. Bathroom will be shared .
There is no AC but I have fans. Meals will be shared when I cook... or we go out to the various food halls to enjoy local cuisine...I hope there are some serious foodies out there :)
Breakfast may also be possible.

Public transportation is plentiful in Trinidad but the location is in the city and allows you to walk to the center of Port of Spain.
Very centrally located for our Carnival which is in March 2025

We kept in touch for few months already when I had the chance to meet her in person and stay at her place. It was more like a holiday and culture exchange which was very generous of her! There were two other girls at her house and I had a great time with them as well.
