Descrição

Lindy and I have a small ski lodge in picturesque Methven after spending time working and travelling around the world.

Our lodge is only 300m from the centre of town which has great pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and other amenities. Methven is close to the mountains which offer excellent hiking, skiing, hunting, and fishing opportunities.

We have volunteered overseas and think we know what makes a good host. While we love travelling, having travellers stay is the next best thing as we love learning about other cultures and experiences.

We love travelling and love learning about different cultures. Here you will see what small town rural life is like in NZ and experience the NZ outdoors.
Ajuda

We are looking for a self-motivated couple who are keen to help us with projects around the lodge.

While some of the help might be fairly basic, we won't ask you to do anything we wouldn't do ourselves. We will try and make the help as fun as possible and will do tasks with you when we can. So, if you are happy to get stuck in with some improvements/projects/maintenance around the lodge, some cooking, and pet care while enjoying what Methven has to offer, please contact us.

Bert,Lindy and Luka were very nice. They are a warm family. We could sleep in there beautiful lodge. They made us very good meals. They showed us around, took us for a coffee in town and iceskating. We had lots of cozy evenings on the fireplace. Once we went to the cinema together. The work was fair and easy. We really recommended them.

Valentino and Sofie were awesome. They stayed with us for 2 weeks helping with various jobs include plastering and painting preparation, starting a herb gardening, cleaning down the house, cleaning spouting and lots of other winter prep jobs.
