  Hello!
  
  We are Riina (29) and Aku (33) with an old dog lady (11). We are a mix of a philosophical thinker and a practical hands-on people.
  
  We live in Southern Finland, Iitti, (2h from Helsinki) in a log house by the lake in the middle of forest. Our home is a never-ending project with all kinds of tasks in the home and gardening stuff to do.
  
  Our place offers lots of activities in the nature, SUPping, berry picking, wood cutting… Nature is wonderful here! Come and enjoy! 🤗

  Oportunidades de intercâmbio cultural e aprendizado

  We offer you typical Finnish country-side stay in the woods. Our leisure is usually, swimming and going to sauna, building, spending time in the nature, cooking delicious, fulfilling plant-based food, burning fire in the fireplace, going to gym… Simple stuff.
  
  Aku is a professional builder so he can teach that stuff. Riina has worked in dance teaching and strength training coaching.
  
  We gladly would take our guests to the city also to do things like museums, bouldering etc… if you feel like it :)
  
  We also meet quite a lot Riina’s family members who live nearby, siblings in the city of Lahti and parents on a countryside as well. We have some French in our family also. :)

  Ajuda

  Most importantly we’d love to meet new people from all over the world since we can’t travel that much now since we have an old dog.
  
  Workawayers could help us with building and painting projects,
  perhaps teach us about gardening depending on the season,
  and spend time with the dog if we have errands.
  
  Also teaching us Spanish and Bachata dance would be fun!

  Acomodação

  Our house has upstairs where our guests would sleep. Upstairs is an open space, without doors but it will be fully in your use during your stay. Our bed is located in downstairs also without an actual door, but it is covered with curtains and wardrobe.
  
  In our house there is one toilet, and separate sauna and shower.
  
  We will cook together plant-based foods.

  We hope you would have some understanding about dogs, since our lady dog has some special needs and quirks with new people, but with calmness there’s no problem.
  
  Our household is vegan/plant-based (except for dog’s food) and we kindly ask our guests to respect that by not bringing any animal-based foods to our home.
