in the nature of Cilento, I helped in the pruning of the olives and in the preparation of delicious dishes.
the host carmine is very hospitable and friendly and always ready to solve any problem you have.

Francesco is a great person and an amazing volunteer. He has a very positive energy and he's always helpful and ready to help in any task needed. I write a whole ten months since my departure from Corleto Monforte but I am happy to finally to get around to it! I arrived with my wife Erika and we helped Carmine with the olive harvest. Flora spent with us 3 weeks in June doing a really good job with the vineyard and the gardening. She's a nice and quiet girl always helpful and ready to give an hand wherever needed. My volunteering experience at Carmine's in Corleto Monforte has been great! I was searching for a cultural experience in a south italian village and that's exactely what I encountered! Carmine and his family are welcoming, friendly and beautiful souls with whom I enjoyed spending my time with. Being used to our modern speedy life I needed to slow
… read more down in order to adjust to Corleto Monforte's way of living ;) It felt nice to walk through the village and being greeted by anyone who passed, which made me feel like I belonged!
The work we did was quite straightforward, mostly we were clearing land or trimming plants and trees. Carmine always made sure we wouldn't overwork and we were mostly rewarded with a drink at Corleto's bar which was the get-together of the village. Carmine also took us to some beautiful springs and on Ferragosto we spent a day in the mountains with his friends.
His vision of the Eco-Project is awesome and I highly admire Carmine for his perseverance! All the luck to you and I hope to be able to visit your Eco Lodge next year! :)

Carmine es muy buen cocinero y la comida esta hecha mayormente con productos locales, lo que le da un sabor especial.
Las comocidades que me brindo Carmine tambien fue excelente, una habitacion para mi solo con un balco que daba a las montañas.
Supero mis espectativas y ademas me invitaron a realizar otras tareas del lugar como por ejemplo la Transumanza! un experiencia unica.
