I have over 40 yrs experience in leisure/tourism management, a wide range of practical, mechanical and boating skills and still remember some of my 1950's grammar school English. I am happy to explore the similarities and roots of the 'Romance' group of languages and I was a professionally qualified youth leader in my twenties.

Vivian is erudite, socially aware and charming company. Very caring she quietly improved my life and nothing was too much trouble. Her inate spatial awareness , acute powers of observation and dexterity made her a very 'quick study' in boat handling and it is difficult to imagine a practical skill she would not master effectively.

Merle was a respectful and helpful guest who cheerfully applied herself to a number of tasks my age now makes difficult. It was a shame that poor weather and awaiting spares prevented her from enjoying cruising on the beautiful R. Meuse during her too short visit.
