Eva is a very charming, hard working, intelligent young lady who is very conscientious in her approach to her tasks. During her stay she completely took care of the house and preparing meals. Katie came to help with meals and house care duties while I am busy on a work project and she was superb in everything she undertook. Meals were beautiful in presentation and taste. Mostly we were just two but when we had friends round her ability from her time as a chef shone through and the results were amazing. Katie would always manage the
… read more fridges so we never had any waste, she would also cook enough so we had some to freeze for use after she was gone. Her thoughtfulness in her duties saves us time and money every day even after she has gone. Whilst here she spent time making adjustments to the workaway accommodation and making it more homely and adding some beautiful touches and styling with things we had around the home. I cannot recommend Katie enough she is kind, thoughtful, hardworking and fun to have around

Andy is a great host with a lively spirit and endless great stories. He was really busy with an engaging work project when I came to him for a couple of weeks. I mostly assisted with meals, cleaning, driving, and getting him away from his computer and down to the beach for runs.

… read more space and a couple of tables and chairs to use if I needed to work. The house is remote, on a hill, but I was able to easily walk into town in about 20 minutes on a well travelled road with some sidewalks and downhill. Uphill on the way back is a much needed challenge after indulging on my travels.
Torre del Mar is a lovely small Spanish town, the beach is gorgeous and there are multiple beach bars to enjoy.
Malaga was easily accessible for a weekend getaway. As is Granada.
Andy is very flexible and accommodating, he’s a great host, a really smart guy who can absolutely chat your ear off and as I mentioned has lots and lots of great stories to entertain you with.
I found the work was fair and the location is unbeatable to be able to enjoy the sunshine in Spain and well-connected for weekend trips, even as I didn’t have a car I found it all to be accessible. … read more in a beautiful, quiet place but with responsibilities, this is an excellent place. Andrew is very respectful and flexible with the times, they take care of you and feed you very well. My responsibilities were basically taking care of the house, cleaning, preparing meals and some gardening work. Very little DIY because I imagine that the previous workawayers did their job well. I will miss talking to Andrew, the walks on the beach to exercise and the beautiful sunrises. Andrew's house is a place that I recommend and that I would like to return to, I hope to do so someday. All that remains to say is, thank you.

Luigi is a lovely caring human being that is great to have a round. He is very fit and strong, fearless on any task and loves to cook and help with general maintenance. Also he was great caring for our animals. Definitely recommend his beer chicken and his spaghetti carbonara.

I found Tobias to be a helpful and industrious person. He was always on hand when needed. Went above and beyond his required hours to finish what he started on numerous occassions.
